Our stay was very pleasant. Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Great pool and poolside area. We were in older building at rear of pool in a refurbished room with comfortable beds. No noise and nice outlook over pool. Buffet breakfast was first class and staff were always helpful and accommodating. The pavilion at Otres beach was a delight as was the beach there.

Room Tip: Rooms in the new wing alongside the pool seemed to be a better proposition in terms of position.

Very friendly staf, good service and place. Only 1 minus is a long trip to aeroport. Tasty food in restaurants near hotel and very nice Russian restaurant near the beach. Cool Otres beach with nice service in restaurant.

Room Tip: Superior room with swimming pool view

After reading some of the reviews I was a little apprehensive about staying here but I need not have worried. I did stay in the newer building so i can only comment on this. Our room was perfectly nice, everything worked, nothing was broken and it was cleaned every day. I found it to be very quiet at night and really well located for all the restaurants/bars in the evening. The OC beach club is lovely and were there most days. The staff were very friends and i found the breakfast to be perfectly fine, although the fruit should covered as it's outdoors.

Room Tip: it's worth, if you can afford it, to get a room with a balcony facing the pool.

We stayed here for a week in February.

Smooth check in and the room on the 1st floor facing the pool was nice. The layout was a little strange with the bathroom sink in the room and right next to it a kitchen sink! What purpose it was supposed to serve had me stumped.......there's no wardrobe as such, just 2 metal poles sticking out from the wall with hangers, a shelf underneath meant it was not suitable for maxi dresses so I hung mine on the bathroom door.

The shower did flood the bathroom if you spent more than 5 minutes in it.

The room was cleaned every day and whilst 1st impressions were good it was apparent the room fixtures were cheap melamine or concrete with the cheap white floor tiles chipped and some cracked.

Breakfast was ok, some days better than others. I asked for poached eggs and was told that while they knew what I meant they couldn't do them, oh well, omelette it was.

The beach club was great and we used it every day. Service was good and the food was great. I know the Londoner who works there has a big hand in the smooth running and efficiency of the f&b side. A bugbear was at the hotel they told you not to take the towels from the pool to the beach club but on our 1st day we arrived at 10.30 am to no towels and were told some would come at 1pm. I asked to call and speak to management as this was unacceptable but the chap from London went to the hotel and got some. I said to him that perhaps If I complain this might improve but he shook his head as if to tell me No, this is Cambodia, nothing will change......

The pool looked very nice although we never used it. The grounds could be improved with a tidy up and the loungers looked a little shabby.

All in all I might stay again but not bother with the larger pool view room, the cheaper ones facing the back in the new building would have been just fine.

Bear in mind there are two buildings, if you want the newer modern rooms they are more expensive.

We stayed here for 5 nights in February 2014. We had booked a junior suite for the duration of our stay as a treat however when we arrived they told us there was not a suite available as a previous customer had damaged an item in the room. They said they would get this fixed within the next couple of days. The only compensation they gave us for us having to stay in a more basic room was a 10% discount. The room we booked was not fixed until our last night at which point there was no point moving all of our things for 1 night. The breakfast was not very nice here and the tables were very dirty. They did not even have water available to drink with breakfast one day! The bar at night had very limited beverages available also. The swimming pool however is nice and the rooms look modern. However the room had parts that let it down such as a very old dirty bathroom door. To rub salt into the wounds after being disappointed with not getting the room we booked for our stay when we checked out their staff produced a broken glass that they tried to charge us for stating we had broken it! We had not broken any glasses throughout our stay and had to march back to our room to produce our full selection of glasses undamaged to prove it. They still continued to argue their point being extremely rude continually changing their story trying to find any reason to get extra money from us. We knew we had definitely not broken the glass and after a long battle they allowed us to check out. I wouldn't stay here again.

cheap hotel accommodation in australian terms..the rooms are too bright to sleep in, the all white look makes room sterile..the air conditioner blows right on top of you so its too cold to be comfortable and too hot to leave off. the breakfast was included but very sloppy, tablecloths were never replaced, even for the next day. I'm pretty sure there was bird poo on the bread because they don't cover anything.
staff were friendly; large pool area, towels did not appear to be fresh. we were given a ground floor room and quite noisy. the fridge only worked when you entered the room so could not get water chilled. there were 2 sinks in the room - one for the coffee facilities and one to wash your hands after you left the bathroom - bit of a waste of bench space. the glass door that opened to outside did not lock so room was unsecured.

The bath Room is not ok , shower an toilet together And when you shower the water goes every where There is no hot water on the washbasin wich is in the Room !
The pool accès Room is nothing , just more expensive , you cannot sit, just stand between the Room And the swimming pool
The last day there was no hot water in all the rooms , people ask to,pay less but nothing , even an excuse from the hotel
The great thing is the hotel jeep wich takes you,for free to the oc Beach , where you can find free chairs And the Beach is Nice
