Tamu is the choice on otres 2... The hotel is beautiful, the staff make it an amazing experience. Have a dip in the pool or grab a day bed on the beach. There are locals who offer you a manicure or massage but if you say no, no pressure. Otres 2 is a lovely beach - there are a couple of other bars on the beach (check out bamboo) but tamu's bar & restaurant is excellent - it would be very easy to go nowhere else, food is good and better still washed down with a couple of Tamu sours!

We stayed at the hotel and due to the weather (heavy rain being the wet season) we ate most of our meals here. The food wasn't necessarily the best we had in Cambodia but it was delicious, particularly the squid in kampot pepper sauce on the lunch menu and the BLT.

It had an amazing atmosphere and was very romantic. Don't be put off by the rain they have clear plastic curtains that they pull down when it is raining and it is just as romantic with the ocean and the rain, it obviously just means you cant sit out under the stars.

The best part of this restaurant is the staff. They are incredibly warm and friendly and made each meal an absolute pleasure. They were so genuine and willing to help it made it very special. One of the waiters Wee took us into the market to help us get fruit that we wanted and helped us get good prices on some souvenirs we were wanting and was just so friendly. At the end of the week we were sad to say goodbye to them.

The atmosphere, staff and food definitely make it worth the trip out to Tamu, we will definitely go back (but maybe in the dry season so we get more sun then rain).

Food served at restaurant is nice with a sea view right in front of you! Staff is friendly and they do make an effort to keep the sand in the restaurant clean.

The restaurant is very pleasantly situated, on the beach, and is nicely organized. The service was friendly, but slow. We had seen various reviews and were, maybe as a result, rather disappointed, as the food was not particularly good. The fish for instance was rather overcooked. Maybe just a bad day.

I stayed here for a few days with my family in a room overlooking the pool. The room was very nice and clean with a lot of space. The bathroom was also nice, particularly as it was outside. We had breakfast here every morning which was varied, khmer with western food. There was a large range of foods on offer which was refreshing to some other places I have stayed. Had lunch/dinner here a few times which was always very tasty and well presented. The service was amazing, there were always waiters on hand to help and they did not hesitate once to give assistance. Would recommend staying here to anyone who wants a bit of luxury, as it is easily the best place you can stay in Sihanoukville.
