I stayed at Jasmine Hotel with my boyfriend for one night. The hotel looks great from the outside, and at first glance the room looked ok, a little run down but passable, however when we turned the fan on it rattled and shook enough that we thought it might fall off the ceiling if we left it on.

The bathrooms have ventilation holes, which lets a lot of mosquitoes in and because the bathroom door did not close, our room had a lot of mosquitoes in it. We backpacked through Cambodia for a few weeks and this is one of the few places in Cambodia that we wouldn't stay in again.

The location is good though, a short walk from the beach.

This hotel has a good location, just across the road from the beach. There are a lot worse hotels in Sihanoukville. It was clean, the bed was okay, though the foam mattress was a bit smelly. The room was fine and the ensuite a reasonable size. The air-con in my room worked fine, though there were a few power outages in the night, which turned it off. I was a bit hot in the morning, and my window didn't open. The shower was cold, and though it looked like there was a fancy electric shower, it didn't work.
Ochheuteal is not my favourite beach, but this end of the beach is certainly better than Serendipity Beach.
All in all it is cheap, and fairly good.

Staying here March 6, 2012, it is safe as there is a doorman at the locked gate (after 11pm) so i feel safe here but it is an average Hotel, it is quiet at night but the cleaning ladies make their presence known early in the morning, the plus side is that it is cleaner than the other Hotels, it is at the end of the strip so there are not many people around, it's across the road from the beach, just walk across the road to the food huts and use their beach chairs for free. It's OK nothing flash at $18 per night, it's affordable but i'm getting a sore throat from the air conditioner so it's annoying but overall it's ok for the price, get your food from any kiosk across the road, it's cheap and the food is good, ignore the tuk tuk (pronounced took took) drivers, negotiate or get the real prices from the reception desk first then go explore.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of an arranged tour so we had no control of where we stayed. On arrival it did feel that we were at the far end of the town and had we wanted to venture out further than the beach restaurants across the road it would have been some distance to the centre. Having said that if all you need is a beach, bars and restaurants there are plenty a short walk across the road. We didn't find the hotel particularly friendly compared with other hotels we stayed at in Cambodia so there may be some customer service training issues. The hotel itself was basic but reasonably comfortable. Had I arranged the accommodation I would probably have been looking for something more comfortable. Breakfast was very limited which seemed to be the norm in Cambodian hotels. Overall not my favourite hotel and would only recommend this hotel if you got a good daily rate and were on a limited budget

Nice hotel, basic rooms, clean.
Aircon, Fridge, Electric shower.
Some rooms with "some" seaview.
No "real" restaurant facility as far as I could tell.
Forgot to clean the room, even though we were the only guests in the hotel, and cleaning stuff were around.
Paid 18USD/night (they asked 20USD/night).

No WiFi or other internet facility.

At night it can be quite noisy because of the beach parties close.

we made the reservation by internet and had to wait for long time to get a answer.
we booked 2 doublerooms on the 2nd floor and got the nicest room the had.
the room was not so big, but clean and friendly.
we asked them also to pick us up at the busstation and they did it with a car and we paid only 3USD. that was more than a fair price.
we paid 20USD per room and night, but the breakfast was not included.
the location was realy good. just over a street (normaly no traffic) and we was directly on the withe sandy beach.
