Klamath Camper Corral

You have options to swim in the heated pool or the river, go on a hike, play on the playground, drive into the nearby town or simply relax, this is a great place to escape with the family!! Also a great stopping point to stay for a night between destinations.

We are full time RV'rs and only stayed here two days, but what a good time we had! After meeting the owner Ray and his friend Richard, the friendly, hospitality began. We informed them that we were in search of some family history that had to do with the old Klamath Bridge that was flooded out in 1964. Ray took time from his busy schedule to give us the VIP tour on his cool revamped quad-runner on the trails along the Klamath River. We were so excited to get photos of sites we would have never been able to see otherwise.
The campgrounds were immaculate and very peaceful. We loved our stay and will return to stay longer. We are still raving about Klamath Camper Corral to all campers we meet along the way. Thanks again Ray.

We picked this campground from their lovely website - if only it were true. I work while traveling and need Internet access which they advertise. Yes, there is Internet (I saw the router) but it only serves "about 7 campers" says the lady at the desk. So there in NO Internet. The bathroom is small and filthy - hair everywhere on the counters and sink and showers. Only one electrical outlet in the bathroom for all the guests who may want to use a hair dryer - although that is hard to do as you are elbow to elbow with other guests and constantly moving out of the way of others going in and out.

Will NEVER go near this place again. Currently sitting in a diner for Internet service.

My family and I have been coming here every year for years! I can't say enough about how friendly and helful the owner and staff are. The bathrooms have ALWAYS been CLEAN and they even have a fun playground and rec room which includes a workout room. The prices are very reasonable with full hookups and you even have private trails that leads down to the Klamath River. For several years now they have served pizza for a fair price. Everything about this place is perfect including the community campfire every night. Other reviews I read said how bad this place is, but it simply isn't true. If you were told to keep your food locked up because of bears (and you are camping outdoors in bear country) why would you camp 50 feet from a big trash bin?
If you are looking for a fun family campground that is clean and safe, this is the place to go!!!

For several years we had stayed here during the 4th of July week, and this years experience will make it the last. The campground sites are clean, however the bathrooms were disgusting. There was enough hair on the bottom of the women's showers for the makings of a wig.The toilets would not flush properly, the showers in both the men's and women's restrooms were not all working so the wait for a shower was almost an hour in the morning. They no longer have the activities as previous years. There are No more hay rides, pot lucks, cable TV in the rec room, Pancake breakfast, bingo and decorations for the 4th. THe Wi Fi would never work. My biggest complaint was the rude owner that drove around all night on his camo atv so if you were in a Tent, you were woke up. Also at anytime he would walk up to your car, and shine a flashlight into them looking for a parking pass. We will not go back and the only reason why we did not leave was because every campground within 50 miles was booked for the Holiday week. They tried to charge me twice for my deposit of $100.00So be careful and get a receipt.

We were tenting and the tent sites were close to where we were told by one of the attendants that there was a large gathering of "JC's" who get very loud and so we paid an extra $8 to stay at a hookup site away from the noise. We were told that there was a bear in the area and to lock up all our food/gargabe etc. and being from a place where we are very aware of bears and safety around them, we thanked him very much and assured him all would be locked up.
When we were done eating and cleaing up my husband noticed the maintenance guy with his garbage truck at the dumpster 50 feet away and walked over with our garbage to add to that already collected. He frigtened the guy accidentely; the poor guy thought he was the bear! Not ten minutes later here wanders in this 400 pound (at least) male black bear. I went to get the owner and his biggest concern was if people were taking pictures of "his" bear, because someone had already shot "his" 500 lb. female bear and left the 2 cubs motherless!!! He chased it off with his camo quad a few times and spoke for a while to a gathered group and then went back to his big white house for the night. That bear rooted through that unlocked garbage bin all night long and every dog in the Campers Corral would bark and bark. You could tell where he was by which dogs were barking. To end this long story...and what seemed an even longer night, not a lot of sleep was going on. The "nice" lady who asked "What's Your Problem" and "Were you told that there were bears in this area?" could not refund any of our $39.50 U.S. They won't like it much when some camper or child is mauled and they get sued for not taking proper care of their garbage on sight!

This place drips and oozes customer service. From the moment we pulled in until a week later, as we left, we were greeted at every corner with a smile and pleasant greeting. I have to believe that Ray, the owner and perpetual worker, must put in 16 hour days. He and his trusty dog covered the grounds showing people checking-in the sites they could pick from. He, and his co-workers were constantly grooming, cleaning, and maintaining the park. The RV sites were all large, pull-through, grass-covered areas. Most of them with full hook-ups, a few with only partial. The children's play area was in perfect order. The community areas were very nice and campers seemed to converge in the evening, especially around the big fire pit. A great place to make friends. The park is first rate, but the people working there are a notch above. Other parks in the area don't even come close. If you are coming to Klamath, your searching is done. This is your spot.
