“Small, but good for the kids”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

This is a well laid out aquarium that focuses on the California coastal sea life. The children (elem school age) all enjoyed it.

“I expected more....”
Reviewed 10 August 2014 via mobile

Driving up past the world renowned Scripps Institute, I expected to see an aquarium of equivalent size and stature. This was not the case. Once you traverse the Hall of Fishes you realize there is not a heck of a lot else to see. This is a nice small aquarium but nothing special. Honestly, I was disappointed and it was fairly expensive for what you got. I can only rate this average and it borderlines being slightly below that. I would spend more time enjoying the views in La Jolla and walking down along the beach.
