We love going to the Open Aire Market on Sunday mornings! It is the best way to spend the day. Plan to go and have lunch, there is incredible street food. Bring a bag to stock up on produce for the rest of the week!

Set on the upper parking lot of La Jolla elementary school, this Sunday farmers market was a great place to shop, get some fruit, cookies and a delicious crepe for brunch. The vendors were all very friendly and helpful to point out where you could find other items. They all seemed to know each other quite well. The fresh fruits were outstanding and the number of samples made this a fun adventure. Locals and tourists just seemed to blend together. We visited with a lovely couple that just lived around the block and they were very friendly and thanked us for coming to their community. We had a great time here and will definitely be back. Great way to spend a Sunday morning.

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the market during our trip to LaJolla. The fruits and vegetables are very fresh. I especially loved a watermelon and jicama salad dressed with fresh lime juice. The other aspect of the market that we liked were the jewelry and craft stands. My son got a cool glass surf board momento of our vacation and I purchased a couple of unique silver bracelets. A must-do for us now when in LaJolla!

Was in La Jolla on vacation and found this Farmers Market on Tripadvisor. I was incredibily surprised at the size of this market. If I lived in La Jolla, I would be here every Sunday morning to get my fruits and veggies for the week! A bunch of vendors set up as well that you can grab a bite and some coffee for breakfast while you are there. Part of the proceeds go to the elementary school which I also really loved.
