A hundred years ago a man had two workers dig a tunnel down into the back of a cave that opens on the front end into La Jolla Cove. 145 steps takes you down there to see the cave where the ocean waves come in. Two sea lions came in while we were there. It's probably worth the $4 it costs to go down. Don't go if you aren't ready to climb down and back up the 145 steps.

I visited it with my son recently and enjoyed the visit. The admission was inexpensive and they offered a cute gift shop that was not extremely expensive.

It's worth the $4 to climb down the steep stairs throught the tunnel out to the inside of a cave. Very cool experience. Great way to see the caves.

I don't think it's really worth the money unless you don't mind giving it away. The steps down can be pretty dangerous and scary with children or older people.

Can enter the cave by man made tunnel from the Cave store. Mouth of teh cave reminds of a Cartoon Character Sunny Jim. Has about 145 Steps steep climb up through a narrow tunnel.
