Owner description: San Diego's most desirable spot for swimming, diving and snorkeling. The water is calm and the cove is ecologically protected. There is also a world famous dive site that is located in the La Jolla ecological preserve.

Our daughter loved seeing the Sea Lions and the wildlife in this area. LaJolla is a bit trendy but we enjoyed our stay here. We loved the sunsets and all of the sea life in the area.

Really lovely spot that my partner and i accessed via bus. My only complaint was that there was nowhere close that i could get changed into swimming trunks to enjoy a dip, consequently we had to go to a bar up the hill and get changed in the rest rooms after a beer. You would expect somewhere on the sea front but there iisn't even a bar . This is a lovely spot though and well worth a visit, best put your trunks on under your clothes though

We had heard about the sea lions but when we got there it was truly amazing. The sea lions were swimming all over, some were on the rocks and the water was a crystal blue color.
My kids had so much fun exploring the caves and going into the water.
The scenery was gorgeous. There was a concert in the park going on and lots of people dancing and having fun everywhere.
We are definitely going back soon.

Incredible views of the ocean and waves crashing on rocks.multiple kayak group excursions can be seen which mars the view a bit but i got over it :)
Rock formations, seals and sea lions barking, pelicans sunning...sigh.

Above there are multiple boutiques and cafes...fab

The La Jolla Cove is very serene and beautiful. The waves crash up on the rocks. There is a nice walkway path the follows the cove. Walk up the hill into the heart of La Jolla with shops and restaurants. Sea lions hang out there too on the big rocks out in the cove. There are many scuba divers and snorkelers in the water.
