“Very busy!”
Reviewed 15 September 2013 via mobile

It was very neat to see the waves crashing on the rocks, and the rock formations that were created by the ocean. However, seeing everyone's names carved into the rocks kinda took away from the natural beauty. Plus it was super busy. Hard to find a quiet moment in that area.

“Not the Tides of the 1970's”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

Back in the day you could see really amazing creatures, but today the place has been really picked over. However, as a native SD I still suggest you go for the experience. You may even see some brittle stars or sea slugs! You never know. becertain to check the tides before you go.

“Not a lot of parking”
Reviewed 3 September 2013

Labor Day Weekend was very crowded and parking was difficult to come by. Overall the weather was great and the area around the ocean is pleasant and peaceful, even with lots of people.

“Neat experience!”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

Make sure you go a low tide - two per day but only one in the daylight. Google it to find the hours, but you get to see all kinds of different fish and sea life in the pools. There were also a lot sea lions hanging out on the rocks that were fun to watch. A cool place to visit!

“Didn't See Tidal Pools - Did See Lots Of Sea Lions”
Reviewed 12 August 2013

Experience the wild by spending a few hours here. My daughter got a respectful distance from a sea lion and I don't think she'll every forget it. BTW, if you think you're going to find shells here, don't bother. We didn't find a one. But bring your camera and expect to take tons of lovely pictures.
