“Tasty, fast, and reasonable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 December 2013

The broth is fabulous and rich. The pork topping was very tender. Noodles perfectly cooked. Great place for a quick meal. No wonder it is the top Ramen shop on Yelp. Plenty of parking in the mall parking lot. It is in the Food Court of a Japanese market, so don't expect great atmosphere.

“Ramen goodness hiding in a strip mall.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2013 via mobile

This is a great ramen joint hidden as the food court for a Japanese market. Once you successfully find the place, all the options are in a window showing samples so you really have an easy time ordering. Try to come with someone so one person can scout a table while the other orders. There is no table service. The selection of food goes from novice to insider (I still have not braved the fermented beans on rice). We were here 2 years ago and made sure to drag friends along who lived in Japan while teaching English. His comment was that the ramen was good but was not as silky as they did not wash the noodles like in Japan. He was still quite happy with his food. Not exactly kid friendly but not kid unfriendly either. Definitely a recurring stop when I make it to SD.
