There is something very calmng being in the Cliffhouse diniing room at sunset. The restaurant has a warm inviting feeling and great views. The food is fine dining. We were lucky to visit this week, restaurant week in the Palm Springs area,

Went to the Cliffhouse happy hour and sat in the back patio. Although they were very busy the service was prompt and the food was great. Had the best calamari ever!

Unique restaurant built in to a rocky outcropping right in the middle of the Coechella Valley.
Valet parking, dining room is beautiful; but sitting outside is fantastic. Almost always busy come early for their Sunset Dinner special.

The Stuffed Pork Tenderloin is fantastic and my favorite. My wife really enjoys the Braised Beef Short Rib.

Locals dine here frequently. Food is good and not overwhelming. We eat here about once a week. Mostly dine in the bar area, occasionally in the dining room.

We stopped by after an afternoon of golf just in time for Happy Hour. It was Monday so wine was the feature of the day. Choices were more than adequate. The Happy Hour menu has options for everyone. My husband started with the Ahi Tuna Tartare appetizer and had the Sirloin quesadilla. The Ahi Tuna Tartare presentation was so nice and different. Sitting outside just adds to the ambiance. I had the Roasted Beet Salad and the Ahi Tuna sandwich. Not often I get to have a beet salad and this one was done very well. My sandwich came with a dinner size portion of Ahi Tuna done well and served over greens on a large bun. If you are in the area during happy hour time, this is a great place to try. The surrounding are beautiful and service is attentive. Definitely worth stopping! Each day has a different special so you might want to check those out and make it a date to try.
