“Laguna wonderland”

Best beaches, restaurants and people in California. It offers a plethora of things to do but mostly a beautiful costal village that hasn't been overbuilt and despoiled by corporate America

“Laguna Beach is a delight”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

Year 'round spectacular scenery with several key viewpoints, beautiful sunsets, leisurely walks from south to north with lots of interesting places to stop and people watch along the way (all of these are freebies, by the way) make Laguna Beach the premiere South O.C. attraction. Summertime brings considerable crowds but if you enjoy arts, crafts and entertainment for the entire family, the multiple festivals - Art Fair, Sawdust, and Festival of Arts - are worth the hassle, particularly if you plan your visit well.

“A lovely place year-round”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

I have lived and worked in Laguna for 15 years and it is like no other place I know. Great for couples, families and solo travelers. It is kind of expensive I have to admit. I just returned form Tokyo and find the price of food and lodging to be much higher here which surprises me.

The up side is the epic beaches and fantastic year-round weather. Can get overcast in Late May through Early July (June Gloom) and can get hot in the fall when the Santa Ana winds blow. Winters are very mild and it does rain on occasion, especially in February.

The secret time to come here is after the festivals close in September. The weather remains summer-like but the kids are back in school and the local tourists are gone. It is the favorite season for us locals.

“Art Community with Awesome Beaches, Great Restaurants and Relax Atmosphere”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

If you are looking to party, this is not the area for you. Laguna Beach is full of galleries, restaurants, white sand beaches and easy going people. It does get crazy busy on summer weekends so plan accordingly. The Art Walk where galleries offer appetizers and wine, trams run up and down the coast, and people enjoy the evening outside is scheduled once a month. Check with the City or Chamber calendar for more information.

“Beauty of Laguna”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

I love going to Laguna because of the sights of the gorgeous beach. Although if you go on the weekend, you should be prepared for traffic. There is one major road going in and out of LB so it gets full on the weekend. There is an awesome Farmers Market on Sat and great restaurants on every corner. Enjoy!!
