It was a beautiful day at the beach and everything was just perfect. So we thought we would try out this restaurant to watch the sunset while enjoying our crab legs. We were expecting to get crabs but were extremely disappointed when the waiter had told us they were out of crabs!!!!???? How can they be out of crabs?? If we were smart, we would have left right then and there but we decided to stay and order something else. Please
don't be fooled by the name!!! Their food is horrible, much too expensive and probably won't have crabs available for you even though they call themselves the CRAB ZONE??!!!

Great location downtown across from Main Beach. The server was very friendley. The decor was nice with the candle light & white orchids. We started off with the spring rolls ($ 4.95) which were wonderful. I had the seafood stir fry with calimari, shrimp and other goodies( $14.95). It was very good and filling. My Man had the fish and chips ($9.95) wich he devoward. Saki was 14.50 and was served hot on request. My only dislike was that the restrooms were shared by other businesses out in the courtyard.

Love this place. Since moving from San Francisco, I have missed the crab. The Crab Zone has great crab at a fair price. I can't wait to go back. The menu also has cajun, which seems a little award, but our dinner choices made us want to come back and try more of the menu selections. Shrimp toasts, crabcake, and crab were delicious..

If you are most concerned about wonderful food and are not concerned about atmosphere, et al (it's essentially a restaurant-bar that shares restrooms with an adjoining food court), then Crab-Zone is your ideal spot. Charming young woman from Vietnam is the chef, and fabulous Pacific Dungeness crabs, wok-cooked in your choice of a fabulous tamarind-garlic sauce or an equally fabulous garlic-pepper sauce are the focal point. Delicious appetizers as well. Liked it so much we ate there twice in three days. Casual dining at its best.
