Head for this beach to see the waves a storm will bring to the shore. Sit in your car or walk along the beach wearing a warm jacket and hat. Can't miss the experience to enjoy nature so close at hand.

This is a great place to come relax at the beach and watch the skim boarders. Because of the way the waves usually crash close to shore (hence the skim boarders) it isn't the best place for swimming, especially if you have younger children. If you are looking for a nice place to picnic and take in the scenery, this is it.

-Paid parking

This cove in the southern part of Laguna is something special. Nice, gentle surf--pretty sand--metered parking. Great place to idle away the day. No food sources on the beach, but plenty within walking distance.

The day we came across Aliso Beach Park...it was very overcast and chilly, but that did not stop us from just enjoying the beach for awhile. This park is located in South Laguna and has a large parking area. There are fee machines for parking, but you just pay for the amount of time you are there. The beach is long, with cliffs on one side as well as beautiful houses on either side. There are also bathroom facilities there. As we sat there watching the surf....we enjoyed the seagulls and a lone surfer out in the water. Very relaxing way of spending some time. I am sure we will return when it is warmer and can enjoy the water.

I used to go here a lot as a kid! It was a great fun beach. Parking sucks, and I remember there were times that the beach was closed down due to contamination, but i think that is the case for most beaches in so cal. All in all, it has left some great memories!
