Wow, what a marvelous Bed and Breakfast! You walk in and immediately feel at home! The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and there were freshly baked cookies waiting there for us! The room was wonderful and so romantic! We even were able to look at some of the others and we couldn't believe how beautiful they are; the pictures on the website are good but don't do them justice! The breakfasts are absolutely delicious and just can't be beat! There are gourmet soufflés and, my favorites were the chocolate covered strawberries! The overall atmosphere is just so wonderful you feel like you've come to a second home not a hotel, and it is so nice and quiet, you can just hear the sounds of nature! Definitely a MUST visit, we are going back next month!

We have stayed at many B&B's, but few had the attention to detail that we found at Rose Gables. The breakfasts were large , delicious, and beautifully presented, and there was always tea or coffee available with cookies when we came back in the evenings. Our room was large and had a great view; everything was clean and pretty. If we wanted to stay in, there were books, magazines, movies, board games--plenty to entertain. Enough pillows, towels, etc, wihout needing to ask for more, and the terry robes were a nice extra.

We just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and decided to stay at Rose Gables. It was one of the most relaxing establishments we have ever stayed at. The accommodations are outstanding; rooms are large, airy, private and beautifully decorated and the view is beautiful from the balconies. Breakfast each morning was excellent. We would definitely recommend Rose Gables for anyone looking for a nice, romantic get-away weekend. Our compliments to our hosts, Laurie and Ray, for their hospitality.

My husband and I just got back from spending New Year's weekend at this B&B. It is a lovely place with owners who give attention to every detail to make your stay enjoyable. We stayed in the Queen Anne room at the top of the inn. This is a very large room with a private bath and dressing closet. There is a fireplace in the room and great views from the balcony. We had a beautiful, quiet and private place to relax and enjoy. The breakfast is served at 9:00 AM in the dining room. The food is gourmet--best I've had at any inn. Ray and Laurie are the owners who take great pride in making sure their guests are taken care of. There is a large selection of books (think library), games, videos and CDs. I highly recommend this small inn for those times you want to get away for a romantic time. No children are allowed.
