My wife and I just tried R'noh Thai last night for the first time, after many years of passing it by. We will be regulars from here on. This restaurant does what it sets out to do with perfection.
The ambiance is very warm and welcoming, two tiers of 5 or so tables each, with warm colors and curtains and centered around a fireplace (very nice in January). There is also patio space with a pleasant view for summer dining. This level of diner comfort does not exist in most Thai facilities.
The regular menu contains both standard and unusual dishes (try the bbq whole Cornish hen, marinated in spices and grilled, and the spicy steak or calamari salads), and the Specialties are highly recommended as unique to the restaurant (e. g., eggplant with prawns). They are very well prepared and presented, and service is both friendly and efficient. There is a very decent and well-priced wine list, both white and red, although a couple more Rieslings/Gewurtraminer options would be appreciated for this cuisine.
