Unpretentious quiet place, just a short drive from 101. It's nice that's it's a little off 101. We stayed 2 separate nights in 2 separate rooms.
The "guest house" (more like a country townhouse) is roomy, and has the master bedroom situated away from the driveway. We also stayed in a suite w/a kitchenette, and even though it was small and the rooms faced the driveway, it was quiet and pleasant. This is the type of place people come when they're looking for a quiet cozy place. The little yard is delightful, with friendly cats, lawn chairs, a grill, a pond with goldfish, etc.
We had no complaints, except perhaps that some decorations in the guest house were inconsistent (a couple were typical hotel-motel art rather than country charm). The suite was actually better decorated than the guest house.
But really we had a great experience on both nights, and we would definitely return. p.s. Make sure to do the drive-in tree when in Leggett; we expected to stay there for 10 minutes but stayed for 30.
