We were not convinced that we had done the right thing booking this remote B&B but it turned out to be a splendid choice for us. It is a very spacious modern house, with a huge living area and big decks overlooking the nearby river valley. It is right off the beaten track, but really not hard to find. Owner Mary was very friendly and welcoming, and serves up a good hearty breakfast. Slightly old-fashioned room furnishings, but not untypical of these parts. We much enjoyed our stay here and visits to nearby Weaverville with its interesting museum and knowledgeable curator! And right next door is the Trinity lakes and wilderness areas.
