My brtother, his wife, her parents, and my Mom live in Lincoln.
After a LONG 7 hour drive, we were tired and hungrry.
My brother said it was the best chinese food in town.
The food was really good.
It was ready for pick up in 10 minutes! Although the place was packed.
I would DEFINATELY order food here again.
But one bummer.....
They forgot our soup I paid extra for.
Oh well. We were too tired to go back for it.
Besides. They make HUGE portions!
LEFT OVERS FOR DAYS!! Lol.

It is just hard to beat Lincoln Chinese for flavor and value. Ping is the pretty lady that runs the place and her husband is the #1 chief...my favorite is Singapore Noodles spicy. Try it, you won't be sorry if you like a little curry and spice.

We decided to try this establishment based upon the previous reviews. Big mistake! When entering the restaurant we were greeted and seated promptly. The place has a nice feel to it. We were offered water and hot tea. Then the problems began. We ordered Lemon Chicken, house Chow Mein and steamed rice. The lemon chicken arrived and some 5 minutes later the chow Mein was brought to the table. After that the servers were missing in action. The chicken was burnt and had a horrible taste. Each of us had one bite and returned the chicken to the serving plate. The chow Mein was edible, but disappointing. When the server finally returned she asked if we wanted a box for the chicken. I advised her of the fact we could not eat it and she promptly cleared the table including the chicken. Needless to say the restaurant simply does not care how the food is cooked or patron satisfaction.
I have been reviewing restaurants for several years now and have never experienced any service or food this bad. It really is too bad as the previous reviews are not consistent with our experience. Having said that we will not ever return nor recommend this place.

Unexpectedly in Lincoln, we were looking for dinner. The Lincoln Chinese Restaurant was recommended to us, and we decided to try it. The atmosphere reminds me of the old New Chinatown in Los Angeles during the 1950s and 60s. English was hesitantly spoken, but good efforts were made to accommodate my wife's and daughter's celiac requirements. The only dish with which we were disappointed was the hot and sour soup. Even my New-Mexico-fire-tested stomach found it too spicy. We enjoyed it's little-town feel and old-timey ambiance. We would go back, but probably we'd avoid the spicy soup.

We had eaten here before in 2010 and found it unremarkable at that time. We decided to try again tonight and found it as unremarkable as in the past. The service is very good and quick too, though the staff doesn't speak much English it was no problem at all for us. We were seated immediately with tea and water on the table before we got our coats off. The food, unfortunately, was a disappointment as it was overcooked and the oil they used left an "old oil taste" in all the fried foods we had. The appetizers were the worst offenders, the shrimp and the egg rolls had strong dirty oil taste and were burned to boot.

The dinner was a little better but the chow mien had the dirty oil taste while the sweet & sour chicken tasted good the chicken was burned too. The rice and soup were fine but all in all we were not happy with the quality of the food.

This was a Friday night and they were swamped with customers but the staff, which was definitely short-handed, did an exemplary job of trying to keep up with the mobs of people. The kitchen didn't do as well, it looked like the woks were too hot, burning things in the oil. And, as luck would have, it we wound up in a huge back-up at the register when paying the tab as a couple making a take-out order spent ten minutes asking the cashier what each item on the menu had in it which she replied to them in broken English. The couple was oblivious to all the people around them waiting to pay while they went on and on.....if the restaurant was staffed with more people as it should have been tonight that would not have happened.

Sorry, but we could not give this place the rave reviews the previous reviewers did, it was just not all that good and there are many other Chinese places in the area to go to that are better.
