We stayed 2 nights in summer which brings frequent foggy mist; it made the setting with view over garden and ocean mystical.
The room was large; it opened to a long veranda shared with rocking chairs which would allow stunning views of the pacific coast had a blanket be provided in the chilly outside air.
Staff was friendly, the restaurant large, but cozy with view of flower garden.
Overall a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: Ocean front room

Views are amazing, the balcony is great with nice rocking chairs to sit in and enjoy a glass or two of wine. Rooms well furnished with fridge etc tucked away in bathroom so you don't have to listen to it all night. Had dinner in restaurant, we chose the front room which is smaller and suited to couples with view across the gardens to the sea.

This hotel is located right on the coast with a beautiful trail to the beach. Our room was super clean and opened up to a shared veranda with rocking chairs. While our son napped we enjoyed a stunning view of the ocean and watched a small pod of whales go by! Heaven!

The hotel restaurant surpassed our expectations. The food was delicious and the staff went out of their way to make sure our 2 year old son was happy.

We met several other couples that travel here on a regular basis. We can see why! We left the Little River Inn after three nights that felt like a week long getaway. We are looking forward to returning.

This inn is spacious with decent food and comfortable lodgings with gilchrist and soalmes bee happy toiletries. We enjoyed a pleasant night there with dinner at the bar (try to huge open faced fish tacos) and a walk to the beach. The wifi worked better on my phone than with my computer, but it was too slow and kept dropping in the evening when many people were also in their rooms. I'd like to see that fixed. I'd stay here again.

The positive: dog friendly, great views and nicely kept grounds. The bad: lobby is shabby and dated and the room looked NOTHING like the pictures on the Internet. Instead of a fresh modern room I got something that looked like it had been in a granny's house, the rug was nasty and the room had an overpowering smell if disenfectant. The nightly price was ridiculously high. I went there to treat myself and felt totally ripped off. Now i'm sorry I didn't take a picture of the REAL room so one can compare to the Internet pictures.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time just recently with our dog. We had eaten dinner at the restaurant (always delicious) several times and always wanted to stay. Finally, we had the opportunity but oh no we had the dog. No problem, the Inn is dog friendly and has special accommodations for you to stay with your little friend.
They provide some furniture covers in case Fido sneaks up to snuggle with you in your comfy bed. There are walking paths and "Pet stations" for drop off of refuse, food bowls and even a couple treats. They think of everything.
The rooms are not new but they are so well decorated, maintained and so pristine they feel as though they were just built. The views as referenced in other reviews are gorgeous! The food, "delish" and room service quite the luxury. Can't wait for another opportunity to stay again.

Room Tip: Upper floors offer a more advantageous view

Our second time to stay at the Little River Inn and it was amazing. Sitting on our balcony watching whales swim by, watching the sunset every evening over the ocean. Had room service one night, the food came quickly and was delicious. Couldn't ask for a better stay
