“Maybe an off night?”
Reviewed 7 October 2013 via mobile

This place was amazing in the past. Just so so this time. Typically they knock your socks off with awesome flavors but they missed the mark today. I got chicken enchiladas and the spice on the chicken made it not good. My husband always gets the Trio because the 3 items always change. The shrimp cake was delicious the pork not so much.

“Excellent food...and service to match...”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

Absolutely thrilled with our Groupon purchase... awesome deal for this awesome meal... and we had such an awesome server...she was so helpful and had a great personality!

The Habanero-Pineapple infused margarita was delicious...and my freshly prepared guacamole always a highlight..but as usual the"Tour Alebrijes" was delicious...always something a little different.

Chipotle Cream mashed potatoes... who would've thunk...mmmmmm

“Hit and miss; mostly miss”
Reviewed 4 October 2013

Did not like the food upon our first visit. Then, enjoyed some very fine appetizers at a winery event. So, decided to give it another try at their new location. The carnitas were very good, but the rice and beans are flat and tasteless. Gagged on the first bite of a chicken burrito. Left stranded at the entrance upon entry...literally, had to hunt and find the hostess to be seated. Not going back.

“Great food! Great service!”
Reviewed 13 September 2013

My boyfriend and I are regulars at Alebrijes, we love the food and atmosphere! Everyone that works there is really friendly and professional. I love their guacamole, and they make it right in front of you and is customized however spicy you want it. Everything that we have ordered has been excellent and I always recommend it to anyone that likes Mexican food.

“For vegans too”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

I had birthday lunch with a friend who is a vegan. She chose Alebrijes, as they offer about a half dozen vegan dishes in their "Heart Healthy" menu section. She is a return customer and immediately knew she wanted an entree dish which came with black beans. She said it was wonderful, as always. The other friend who joined us and I opt for the regular menu choosing the super burrito (she took half home for dinner) and the chicken enchiladas with the restaurant's own sour cream. Both were very good, as were the stuffed jalapenos we had as an appetizer. A very pleasnt experience for vegans and non-vegans.
