“Wonderful outdoor restaurant”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

If you're like me, you want to sit outside whenever possible and this restaurant is a great place to do so. They have flowers everywhere. My husband and I had lunch on the way to Fresno and it was very good. Service was great until it was time for a check and we finally headed inside to get a check. We got bear claws and muffins from their bakery - claws were excellent but muffins were very dry.

“Good Food, probably great wine”
Reviewed 23 May 2014

This place has a great atmosphere, great people, good food (probably between good and great) BUT the wine glasses need some attention. The wine is probably very good, made for the restaurant, by the restaurant owner but it was a little warm and served in extremely heavy crystal looking glasses. Each glass weighed upwards of 5lbs. I had the fish tacos which was very good and the red blend and a cab. I would love to try these wines at a little cooler temp and is good wine glasses. It seemed that the owner was more into beer now and not as much into the wine but that may only be my interpretation. The wine price per glass was $8 which was okay for the area, maybe a little high, and the bottles were $18-30. I didn't buy a bottle because I couldn't determine the quality since the glass wasn't very nice, otherwise, since it is from Lodi, I'm sure it was really good wine. I might go back since I'm in Lodi for business a few times per year but I would ask for or bring a different glass. If you want the "real" Lodi experience this would be a good place to start.

“Great breakfast and atmosphere ”
Reviewed 18 May 2014 via mobile

This was a great find recommended by another traveling couple. Great breakfast menu and all of the menu items selected were well prepared with fresh ingredients. Breakfast burrito and bread pudding was fantastic as was the selection of coffee. Patio area was inviting and comfortable. No doubt would return when back in town.

“Old World Charm”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

The Dancing Fox is great for a light lunch while shopping in downtown Lodi. The old wooden floors and mismatched furniture greet you with warmth as you walk in the door (or you can eat out side). The food is always good and there is a wine tasting bar in the back! They also have a great meeting room in the very back of the restaurant which is perfect for showers or birthday parties! They also make great bread that you can buy to have with a bottle of Lodi wine! Not a bad day in northern CA!

“Local Wine and Micro Beer”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

This place offers local wine as well as micro beers. You can venture to the back for a taste of wine or belly up to an L shape bar or sit down to a micro beer and lunch or dinner. The oven fire pizza is my favorite as well as the choice of micros. The future holds in house brew and the taste will go with the ambiance. ENJOY!
