Owner description: The Lompoc Wine Ghetto is a loose collection of wineries, including many production facilities. This unique two-block industrial complex has been almost completely taken over by the wine industry. Its seventeen tasting rooms represent more than 20 local brands. You won't find great estates with rolling hills here, nor opulent tasting rooms with soaring ceilings. What you will find is world-class wine, presented in a laid back atmosphere. Often the tasting rooms are inside production facilities, so don't be surprised if the person doing the pouring is also the person that made it. Come spend a weekend with us tasting exceptional wines in this very non-traditional setting. If great wine is what you seek, come pound the pavement for a while and discover the treasures of the Lompoc Wine Ghetto.

Appropriately named! Not a lot of ambience, but efficiently set up for multiple tastings in a small area.
Reasonably priced, good value for money spent.

A friend knowledgeable in wines recommended this place. Drove over with some friends while staying in Solvang. At first we couldn't figure it out. It's an industrial business park. You just walk around to the different spots. Ended up having a great time and enjoyed all the wines. Only went to four which means we will return. Highly recommended for folks who enjoys wine.

We did not check out all the various wineries represented at the Wine Ghetto, because I wanted to sample the Pinot Gris that FGC bottled. Unfortunately, they were not pouring their Pinot Gris this month. We tried their "Bubbly Flight", which was OK, but not transcendant. I bought a bottle of the PG, and sampled it later. It was quite good, but not to match the same labels from Willamette Valley Vineyards or King Estates, from Oregon.

I loved the idea of being able to walk a small area and be able to taste wines from so many different wineries. Wines ranged from "ok" to "delicious" and the price points all spanned the same type of spectrum. If you go, stay local, take a taxi or get a designated driver - you'll need it! Bring some crackers or munchies too, you'll be glad you did!

Flying Goat wine tasting room was great and it was all because of Danielle who worked there and was so helpful and fun. We did a split of the two different types of wines which are sparkling and reds, We ended up buying their Goat Bubbles rose champagne and their Pinot Gris, She suggested we go to lunch in Buellton at Avant wine and tapas bar and try the Ascendant distillery which were both fantastic. Thank you Danielle for making our visit so pleasurable.
