My family & I took our first trip to Long Barn this past weekend & found the Long Barn staff & cabin to be exceptional! Upon registration, we found the staff to be extremely helpful & really went out of their way to welcome us & make us feel like family. We stayed in cabin K. For my husband & I and our 3 children, cabin K was the perfect fit. Spacious, exceptionally clean, well stocked & furnished. We will definitely be back again...

I got a Living Social deal for staying here. My wife and I spent two night in the motel on the grounds. We wish we would have stayed in the cabins they have on the premisses, but the motel worked fine for sleeping, nothing too impressive or extravagant.

The staff was AWESOME!

Near a lot of great views, hikes & tasty eats.

Room Tip: You definitely want to take advantage of there Ice Skating rink. There are great little spots not to...

We were working the Rim Fire, so we stayed here 3 or 4 nights. This is not a 5 star hotel, but what it is a very clean nice place to stay right in the mountains. The great thing is, they have little log cabins, big log cabins and a motel with great rooms. This would be a great family motel, big lawn area, pool, volley ball, and in the winter a ice skating rink!
I left my over night bag in the room and the next day there were notes in 3 places to come to the office to get it. The trees and mountains smelled soooo good there. Its off the main Highway so its very quiet.

Room Tip: Try one of the cabins, I bet you will stay a extra day

My family and I stayed at the Long Barn Lodge recently. We stayed in the Cabins, Cabin H to be exact. We had a very pleasant stay. The interior and decor is dated, nothing fancy, however it was clean and comfortable. The staff in the office was very friendly and answered all of our questions. They recommended a great place for a horse back riding day trip. Their pool is very large. I didn't feel as though it's heated, but that was ok, since it was very hot during our stay. They let us borrow a BBQ so we could cook out doors every night. Easy drive to Pinecrest Lake. We had a fun lake day as well. Thank you Long Barn Lodge, we'll be back!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Cabins which have a full kitchen and refridgerator. The Motel rooms do not have kit...

My wife and I and our kids have stayed at the Long Barn Lodge 4 times for 3 to 5 days along with a group of friends. The cabins and rooms are very clean, quiet and well furnished. The price is good for the location and amenities. Great swimming pool, vollyball, BarBQ facilities, very friendly management. It is close to lakes and hiking. We enjoy it a lot and keep coming back.

This was the perfect place for a family reunion. The semi-enclosed lawn area, the pool, the plentiful tables and chairs all helped to create a fun and secure setting. Even our dogs had a great time Our room was quite dated with quilted bedspreads, tiny tv and and small stink and shower, however, it was clean and fairly spacious. One family in our group rented the large 2-story cottage and it served as our base for meals and such. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Next time I'd choose a cottage or second floor room to avoid listening to footsteps above us.

Ths was a girlfriends getaway. Since it was during the week, the place was empty. There was only one other room rented besides ours. The room we stayed in was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There are front and back doors to the room that allow for cross ventilation. It has a couple of lawn chairs on the front patio that look onto a nice green lawn surrounding a swimming pool. Inside the room were a queen bed and two twins, and a sofa with a little old fashioned tv. We found an electric fan, which we did not need, and an old fashioned oil hurricane lamp in the closet. We used the oil lamp to enhance the ambience even more. We thoroughly enjoyed a quiet and relaxing stay. It's old but quaint. Bonus points for super water pressure in the shower. Debbie took the reservations and checked us in and is as friendly and nice as you could ask. Extra stars for her. She was great!

Room Tip: The hotel lists all their rooms and cabins online and make to easy to select what meets your needs.
