Run down. Threadbare carpet, missing baseboards, TV wiring exposed. Looked clean ,felt dirty. Lowlight was killing a cockroach the size of my thumb. If this is all you can afford, I recommend sleeping in your car.

As we arrived at motel we were a bit apprehensive due to the area. Room was very nice, impressive even! Cleaned daily to a high standard. Receptionist always helpful, only downside really was that certain buttons had been disabled on the tv remote and you couldn't turn the subtitles off. Would stay here again for the right price.

We were looking for something as cheap as possible in the LB area, but of course needed to find something clean, and the Tower Motel was perfect for what we needed.
Upon driving in, I was a little nervous, as the neighborhood is not the best, but the front desk staff was very nice and helpful.
The room was surprisingly nice and VERY clean. Much better than I expected from the exterior. The room didn't have a closet (we didn't mind), but did come equipped with a mini-fridge, comfortable bed, and a nice television.
Also loved the free wifi.

For $45 a night it was actually a total steal, and we ended up staying two extra nights. Definitely will be back next time we're in the area.

it was a pleasant stay. The room was clean which is a huge plus. Yea, the motel is in a sketchy area but my stay there was great. I stayed there for one night and it was good, i would recommend if looking for something affordable and clean.

Room Tip: try to get room 7-10. they are more hidden from the streets so less noise level.

We booked this motel in Long Beach for a very inexpensive rate. The motel is conveniently located near I-710, and is located on the Pacific Coast Highway. The room was equipped with a flat screen TV, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a nice tiled shower. It was very clean and well maintained. The first night, we discovered that the toilet tank arm was broken, but it was fixed immediately. Sometimes, you don't need fancy accommodations. All you want is a clean, quiet room with the basic amenities in a safe and convenient location. This motel fit the bill nicely.

Room Tip: We did not use the A/C or heater, but it looked to be in good condition. Most likely, all the rooms...

The rooms were great. They were really clean and the bathroom area was modernized. Large flat screen tv on the wall and a mini fridge. The area was really the only problem. As people have mentioned, the place to check in is a little room where you are separated by a plexi glass thing from the manager (kind of a scary start). Also it was two girls staying there which was likely a bad move. A few people walking by on the street saw us go into the room and followed us to the door and knocked on it. Needless to say we did not answer the door and they did eventually walk away with no issue but it was a little rattling. For a guy or a few guys it might be better but I would not recommend a women or group of ladies staying here alone.

If I could have gotten out of our reservation, I would have. We are here now, curtains drawn, air conditioner on to block out the noise, and window locked. The room is clean, as is the bathroom. There is a very nice, large flat screen TV, a microwave, and a mini fridge. That is the extent of the pros.

There is no lobby, just a pexiglass (bullet proof?) window to check in with the manager. Rooms are all on ground level and open to the small, secluded parking lot. We walked across the street looking for something to eat, and were literally stared at and glared at by most folks we passed. There are no recognizable restaurants in the area, and we quickly settled on calling for pizza rather than walking around the neighborhood. The apartments behind the hotel are loud, though the AC in the room blocks everything out.

I wont sleep well tonight and will gladly pay $30 more next time to stay in a little nicer area. I would not recommend this hotel--simply due to the sketchy area.

Room Tip: Choose a different hotel!
