We stayed overnight in The Queen Mary and it was like stepping back in time to a bygone age.
We had the opportunity of upgrading to a room overlooking the outside for $20 extra but, as we were staying for only a night, decided against this. However, if you are staying for a longer stretch, you may wish to do this so it might be worth holding off booking a more expensive room if you are a bit of a gambler!
If you do stay here, do try to book a table at Winstone's for some old time glamour and delicious haute cuisine.
Also, do try the Ghost tour as you'll get to see areas of the ship that you wouldn't normally see: the swimming pool and the boiler room. (Sadly, we saw no ghosts...)
