Went to the Flower Farm with my family to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday. The Inn was very nice. Lots of open space, flowers, bocce ball courts, vineyards, citrus trees, chickens, etc. There is the original farm house, which as been tastefully and lovingly restored by the family who currently owns it. There are three rooms upstairs in the farmhouse. They are super quaint and charming, although privacy might be an issue as the bathrooms in the rooms have no doors, only a curtain. Also, the rooms are close together. Those rooms would be perfect for a girls getaway where each had their own room. The other accommodations are cottages. Two of the cottages are completely private, and one cottage is a duplex with a shared wall. All of the cottages are very cute and spacious. The Sunflower cottage is original to the property, while the other two were added later on. All but the Sunflower have bathtubs, as the Sunflower is set up for ADA. Hibiscus has a great whirlpool tub, the Climbing Rose cottage has a bubble-tub, and Buttercup has a rather small, traditional tub. A delicious breakfast is served every morning by the very friendly and talented staff. The event barn is very impressive, as are the on-site nursery and the cafe (which is closed on Tuesdays). What kept me from giving the Flower Farm 5 stars is three-fold. First, I found the property to be a bit messy. There seemed to be a great deal of trash around the property. For example, the area in front of my Dad's cottage had a lot of cigarette butts in in, which made it less than ideal. There were other areas around the property that were plagued by trash as well. My second observation was that the chicken coop wasn't clean. As someone who has chickens, I feels it's very important that their quarters are clean. That might just be my OCD-ness. Finally, it would be a nice touch if there were snacks or beverages available for guests, as other B and Bs offer. All in all, I thought this was a really nice place, that could be perfect with a few small, extra touches.
