First time to Universal Studios kids had a pretty good time rides were good for the most part kids love minion mayhem very commercialized as you'd expect from a park but it is somewhat of an amusement park the City Walk is kinda cool lots of different things to do there would definitely recommend the i fly skydiving experience kids loved that. all in all if you're going to be in Burbank I definitely recommend it I don't know if we would go back just Universal Studios unless they had more rides or shows but it's definitely worth the stop

Thank you for visiting Universal Studios Hollywood!

I am glad that your kids enjoyed our rides, particularly Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem. We hope to welcome you back soon, particularly when we finish construction of Springfield, USA and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

“Fun and educational”

Well worth investing in the VIP Experience if you are interested in the movies. It's pricy, but for one day it puts you at the head of every line, and you get to tour a working sound stage, too!

“EXCELLENT!”

Loved the place!. Best part was Optimus Prime and Megatron! Was there around 10.00 am and the lines moved quite well . You have to expect long line ups at places like this. but it was worth the wait.
Food, as expected was expensive, but was better quality than Disneyland

“Fun Place, Big Crowds like Expected”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2014

This was my first visit to Universal in Hollywood (I have been to the Universal in Singapore). Overall, I enjoyed my time there. The studio tour was enjoyable but I wish I would have sat on the left side of the tram to get pictures, as all but 2 of the main sites to see were on the left. The lines were expected, 60 minutes for a group to go on Jurassic Park but only 15 minutes as a single rider for Transformers. The Shrek show was cute, Simpsons ride was fun. We did not go on Despicable Me because it was new and the lines were insane. We ate at the Mel's Diner, which has good food and inside seating (if you stalk a table like we did). My only complaint is that a lot of the walking areas between sections are too narrow for such huge crowds and we were constantly squeezing between people unlike places like Disneyland, where it is more open.
