Well what can I say!
After a 10 hour flight and a crazy drive from LAX in a hire car my boyfriend and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in LA. We stayed here for 4 nights.
We were greeted by Nina (the owner) as though we were her only guests-we clearly were not as it is a popular B&B! She made us feel so welcome as she gave us a tour of her lovely house and answered lots of questions. The B&B has a room full of information and a notice board on the wall to show you where every tourist spot is and how to get to it-so useful!
The room also had a list-with reviews-of all near restaurants, which was a brilliant idea as the last thing we wanted to do was try to drive anywhere and look for food.
We stayed in the Comet room and it was great. The bedroom was spacious, with the most comfortable huge bed! It also had a big TV & satellite. The bathroom was also big, with a shower (no bath). However, the balcony was enormous! It has lots of chairs and a table and spiral stairs leading down to the pool.
The house is very eccentric! But lovely, and Nina is clearly amazing at mosiacs. We did not meet William as I think he was away at the time.
The B&B is very clean and tidy and the breakfasts were great. We also loved the fact that we had a private gated drive for the hire car. We also used the pool which was great.
The location is fine. Within walking distance of the Walk of Fame and a very safe feeling neighbourhood.
Nina made sure she was able to see us off when we left and it really felt like she cares about her guests.
I would definitely stay here again and would recommed it to my friends. I'm so glad I did not pay out for a hotel room. This B&B is cheaper and so much nicer!

We'd decided to break the trip from Australia to New York with a stay in LA, which in retrospect is a dumb thing to do because LA is an awful place, especially compared with New York. However the Hollywood B and B was one bright light in this short stay. It's quite an exceptional and unique place full of magic and colour. The owner Nina is very welcoming, albeit a tad eccentric, but you have to like her for this. She has done an absolutely incredible job decorating this place with colour and an unbelievable array of little knick-knacs. It's almost like a museum where every corner of every room is fascinating. Outside this little oasis in the streets of Hollywood is an ugly, plastic town not worth the walk in. Watch it on TV instead, it looks much better there. The Hollywood B&B is probably the only good reason to visit LA that I can see after two visits to this creepy city. Actually it's so good that it might just be worth visiting LA just to see this little B and B on it's own. Our room was enormous, our bathroom was enormous and the bed was so comfortable i could have lived there forever. Normally for a bloke like me this would not matter much but I really appreciated the warmth of this place. For women, I think this place is heaven. Just be very clear with Nina about your bookings so that there's no misunderstanding.

This was my second stay with Nina & William and it was as fab as i remembered! this time as i was travelling with a friend we had the biarritz twin room on the ground floor with its own door out onto the patio and pool area.

Wonderfully decorated, huge TV, great hosts, amazing breakfast, off road secure gated parking - perfect for a stay in a wonderful city!

next time i'm in LA the Hollywood Bed & Breakfast will definately be top of my list for where i want to stay!

P.S. Vivoli's does lovely italian food, johnnies is good for pizza, the laugh factory has some great acts on and deffo walk to the walk of fame - its only 15-20 mins and its a great safe area. Oh and they've added a laptop for guests use since my last visit which was really useful!

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of September, it couldn't have been a nicer start to our holiday. We stayed in the Comet room, the room was extremely spacious and comfortable and there is a balcony with steps down to the pool. When we arrived from the airport we welcomed warmly by Nina and William.

The house is quirky and clearly Nina and William have put a lot of time and effort into decorating it in such a unique way. The house is kept spotlessly clean and breakfast is provided each morning which was great. The house is about 15 to 20 minutes walk to the Kodak Theatre and it is only to blocks away from Sunset Strip where there are plenty of restaurants. There is a room in the house where Nina keeps lots of information about what there is to do in the area and there are maps which are really useful. If you are going to Hollywood this would definitely be the place to stay, it is a peaceful oasis but not to far from the action.

This place is a little oasis in the middle of the madness that is Los Angeles! The place itself is about a mile from the Chinese Theatre and the tourist spots.

The place is painted bright colours, has loads of crazy things that the owners have collected and a pool. The place is immaculate! Nina keeps everything spotless. The pool is a fantastic extra. After a hard day of sightseeing it was perfect to use to cool down.

Nina asks for your breakfast order for the next day each morning so you can get exactly what you want to eat.

I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this place to anyone wanting to go to Hollywood. Forget those big hotel chains, try this for something different. You wont be disappointed

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days recently and I have to say it wasn,t quite what I was expecting. The host is a very attentive lady called Nina, she made sure everything was ok, showed us round and was very charming. The house is located about a mile from the walk of fame and makes for an easy and safe walk. It is in a good area and when out late at nite we felt in no danger.
There is parking for 3 cars, off street and behind gates. The house is very colourful with lots of lights and a massive amount of, what can only be described as kooky stuff.
The house is interesting, different, colourful, comfortable, nearly tacky but not quite. Eccentric would be the right word.
Breakfast was very good, no compliants there. The bed was massive and one of the best i,ve ever slept on.
If you are used to staying in a 5 star hotel then this place is probably not for you. If you want to stay somewhere fun and feel like your in a movie made by the B52,S then come here.
