The hotel and lobby are beautful. In a great location downtown.
The one downside was how busy it seemed. If there are any concerts or events going on next door it will be swarming. I happened to stay here when Taylor Swift was performing and had to deal with the babies and children running up and down the hallways. Same goes for the pool area, can get very crowded.
If you can get a good deal...$150 or less than for sure book it. Check out their military discounts! I stayed here for $120 per night.

Room Tip: We had a view facing North, which had the mountains and the observatory. If you get the South side you will be overlooking the pool and the Ritz-Carlton.

I had a corner room so I could see 180 degrees around me. It was decorated nicely and perfect setting for me to work in. The fitness center was clean and had state-of-the-art equipment. I checked in the day after the Grammy's and was expecting a long delay in getting my room but it was ready at 3 pm. Great location if you are attending an event at the Staples Center given how many fun restaurants there are in the area.

It was the second time we stayed at this hotel,
The location of this hotel is SUPERB,
Very comfortable & spacious rooms with view of L.a.live, Nokia theatre, Staples centre, Grammy museum just outside of this hotel with lots of restaurants in this area,
Those who wish to see LA by Metro train, the Pico station just walking from the hotel
L.A market cafe is one of the good choice to eat in the hotel
My overall experience is very good about this hotel,
Highly recommended . . .

Room Tip: Get Room with a view of L.A.live.

We spent one night here on our way to Pasadena for the BCS championship game. We went to the LA Kings game that night and this hotel was the perfect place to stay.
It is a modern, trendy and energetic hotel. It may not be the right place to stay if you're looking for relaxation.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the shower was fantastic with great water pressure. There is a nice rooftop pool to soak in some sun, however, it is a bit small for the size of this hotel.
After the night LA Kings game the hotel lobby was buzzing with activity, including a post game radio show in the hotel bar. It was loud and crowded, so we made our way across the lobby to the restaurant lounge.
The rooms were far enough away from any noise, so sleeping was no problem.

Great hotel with awesome facilities. Came for a conference, I would only stay here for a conference or for business meetings as this is not somewhere you would choose to stay for a vacation. The pool was very nice but unoccupied as this is a conference hotel. Nothing really walking distance but a few good restaurants and that's it... if your planning a leisure visit this is not the place to be
