“Great for young kids”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

This is a great place to visit with kids under 6. The Noah's Ark is fantastic but make sure to get tickets in advance. During summer they have great shows on the weekend for kids.

“Lovely center, always something new to see”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

We've been to a couple of events at the Skirball now and each time we've been so impressed with the exhibits. There is a charming little cafe in the center for lunch so you can go and make a day of it.

“A Terrific Venue”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Skirball is set atop a hill overlooking the LA basin and the San Fernando valley. It's setting is just the first of its spectacular features. The venue features imaginative and informative exhibits that have been thoughtfully curated. Reachable only by car, insofar as I can tell, there is ample parking on-site.

“not to be missed if you visit Los Angeles”
Reviewed 26 October 2013

We live in West Los Angeles, but always make a point of taking visitors to the Skirball. Their special exhibits are wonderful and their permanent showcases are well thought out and educational. It is never too crowded and the buildings are a work of art

“A wonderful experience”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

The Skirball always has interesting exhibitions and is very family friendly. Next to the Getty, it is a wonderful companion institution, particularly oriented to Jewish culture, but often showing things with a wider scope.
