This dinner was by far the best meal we have had during our stay in California. The service was exceptional; the waitress we had was incredibly attentive. Each item we had was perfectly balanced and portions correctly sized (and obviously delicious). Furthermore, there is a patisserie section at one end of the restaurant offering a large array of beautiful pastries. Good prices considering the high standard of the food.

i've been to BL a few times. Each time I come thinking, "This time will be different". And it is not. The food just isn't that noteworthy. It is not bad but it should be better. Especially in such a lovely room. Also it is noisy. But I guess if you are downtown and need to meet someone especially on a sunny day and you want air conditioning and want a nice environment then yes go for Bottega Louie. But don't expect to be thinking about the food long after you leave.

i've been to Bottega Louie twice now while on business is LA and have nothing but positive things to say about the food and the service.

We had a group of six. We showed up at 10pm. Got a table right away. We ordered drinks and a bunch of apps. They came and were really good, but the service was very sloppy. Literally. The server spilled water AND a Cosmo on me. Ugh.
We ordered entrees. They were delicious. But where is our server???? I'd like to order a drink. Nothing. I had to ask somebody to find him so I could get a drink. Took 10 minutes to even put the order in. Ugh.
Food was great drinks were great. Ok, time to pay the bill. Where is our server???? Again. Had to ask someone to find our server. Took 15 minutes to even ask for our bill. Service need to be better. A lot better.

Delicious delicious delicious! Some of the best food I've ever had! I had freshly squeezed apple juice in the best eggs Benedict ever!!! Atmosphere is wonderful. we went there for Sunday brunch, get there early also has a bakery and wonderful food.
