“Great tour of the financial district in Los Angeles”

Enjoyed our tour. The food was delicious and plentiful. The guide, Cassie, was fun and knowledgable about the history and buildings in L.A. I think this is a good way to see a neighborhood and eat!

“Looking For A Fun Food Outing”
Reviewed 22 November 2012

Last Saturday four of us took a Six Taste food tour of downtown LA. The tour lasted about 4 hours and we visited six different small establishments. Our quide Danny was an actor and keep us going the whole time. The places we eat at, provided a lot of samples, by the time we finished the whole group of 12 people were happy and stuffed. We live outside of LA and would never take the time to find these small places. The group started at a Lebonese hole in the wall in the jewelry district. The food was fantastic and the owner came out and talked to us. We also visited Thai, sweet shop, coffee/pastry, sandwich, and LA Grand central Market. All the food samples were good if not excellent. Not sure of the cost since a friend paid for it but I think they got the tickets at a discount on Groupon. Six Taste has a number of different tours and based on this one we plan on taking others in the future.
One last point, a couple in our group had just moved downtown and took the tour to learn about different places to eat. They left saying they would never have found some of the places. Have a nice Saturday or Sunday and take this tour.

“Six Taste Los Angeles Food Tour”
Reviewed 1 November 2012

I do not ususally submit reviews, but this experience was so enjoyable that I wanted to share. This was my first trip with Six Taste and had no idea what to expect. The Los Angeles tour says it covers 12 blocks and 6 tasting stops. The walking was mostly level and at a leisurly pace. Believe them when they say there is a lot of food. By the last two stops we were very full, so a lot of the food went home in doggie bags, after a taste. I am a person with certain food allergies. The company was very accommodating and careful with my health. They offered alternative tastes that allowed me to enjoy the tour with everyone else. Our tour guide, Brian, was friendly and knowledgeable. We got a food tour and lots of history about downtown Los Angeles. Looking forward to my next food tour in Santa Monica.

“Yumm!”
Reviewed 28 October 2012

We did the Taste of Tokyo tour today and absolutely loved it! It was our first tour with Six Taste and we were very impressed with it's organization and high quality of restaurants. The food was different enough that it was adventurous while not being too "out there" that we refused anything. Brian Takahashi was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area, the history and food. We especially loved the "sushi etiquette". We live in LA but had limited knowledge about the Little Tokyo area, this tour is a thorough introduction and fun to boot!

“A Taiwanese education”
Reviewed 22 October 2012

Our Six Taste tour in Arcadia was not only yummy, but a short course in Taiwanese culture. The best part was our tour guide, Michael. He has a wealth of knowledge about Taiwan and a storehouse of family stories. The eating was wonderful and well worth the price. Parking was easy and the walking was short and sweet. I cannot wait to go on another tour!
