Our guide for Los Angeles, Trevor, was more like our son by the end of the day. This private tour of all the L.A. hot spots dealt with the obligatory things that we all think of: Hollywood, Beverly Hills, etc. But what we didn't expect was to have a veritable university professor lead the tour! My brother tried to stump him at one point with a question having NOTHING TO DO with L.A. (about WWII naval history, of all things) and Trevor answered it and then had the audacity to know more about this particular thing than my brother did!!! We were all laughing that my cheeky brother was bested at his own game. My dad was in shock and that's when we fell in love with our guide/son. Trevor spoke intelligently about every topic we inquired after, from geo-politics to flora/fauna to weather patterns to the migratory routes of the American people over the last two centuries. He was also kind, warm, sincere and showered us with attention and tailored this tour to our likings. I hope he's paid well, we weren't prepared to tip so we gave him what we could and he more than deserved it. Trevor is welcome to stay with us in Kent, U.K. anytime he and his wife travel there, and we told him this. We would adore seeing him again one day. Cheers, Another Side Tours! And thank you so very much, Trevor.
