Not so great. Location was pretty bad - we didn't feel safe driving around. Breakfast room was full and hot and uncomfortable. There was a hair ball in the bed. Gym was adequate at best. I wouldn't stay again.

My family stayed for two nights, The stay was good. the room was big and comfortable. The bed was a little on the firm side. It was great for the first nights but on the last nights we were really missing our mattress from home. The complementary wi-fi worked pretty well. The breakfast was ok, the safe in the room was in a wrong place.

Could have been better if my room wasn't facing the traffic. Could hear cars pass by the whole time. The woman at the Breakfast area(the woman with the curly hair) she was awesome! Front desk clerks were okay. "Smile, you're on stage!" :) Room was spacious. Few cons: Hair in tub and sink. Seemed like room hadn't been dusted for few days. Old tape was coming off under the sink. But, other than that, I had a good stay. Wonderful breakfast! I left a comment card in the room, but never heard from management.

This has become my hotel of choice on frequent visits to Burbank for work, based on value for the dollar in this area. It is definitely the best of the hotels in the $100 price range. if you want fancier, the airport Hampton is a step up for about $170/night, and the Amari and Hilton Universal are beautiful, but $200+.(plus steep parking fees) The BW has a mix of visitors--some business travelers but mostly tourists (I hear people from other parts of he US, Europe, and Asia at breakfast) visiting Burbank-area attractions. Nice crowd. Avoid the rooms with a window facing Lankershim.Blvd (noisy); other rooms are quiet.

What's great about this place: Clean, comfortable room, Property is secure; staff are low-key but very helpful when asked. Chibu sushi restaurant, next door, is a destination spot for sushi lovers all over the Valley--not cheap but really good. Other dining requires driving-- a couple miles south to the NoHo arts district, with lots of good and interesting restaurants, or to several other areas with good restaurants within 5 miles..Reliable wireless, and downright fast internet if you bring a cable. Good breakfast (waffles, yogurt, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, breads and pastries, but no scrambled eggs or meat). People who stay here are generally quiet and pleasant, have never been woken up by a party..

What's not great: As long as you're on the property, i feel secure, but the immediate neighborhood is not for the squeamish. I don't walk around the area, especially after dark. Fitness center only open 8a-8p. Room air conditioning units sometimes work, sometimes don't. Room amenities are minimal, and carpets need to be cleaned more often.

Still, for $100 per night, you can't beat this place.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing Lankershim Blvd.

Room quality very poor, broken fixtures in bathroom, damp carpet, odor due to damp carpet. Breakfast poor quality basic. Dusty AC unit, dirty phones, bed linen low quality. I have stayed in many Best Western hotels this was the worst in my experience in room quality.
