We needed a place to eat between our day at Universal and tickets to see Spamalot at Pantages. We were a little hesitant to go here, there was only one other party seated here, but people looking at the menu outside said they highly recommended it so we took the chance. So glad we did! We spent over a week in the LA area and this was the best restaurant we ate at. Everything was superb, the waitstaff excellent. We ordered three entrees for three of us to share and had enough leftover for lunch the next day. Will definitely eat here again.

The food was great, if you haven't made a reservation, you may have to wait outside for a while. Service was fast and excellent.

Excellent location; service; food. A gem after a long day at Universal Studios (Hollywood)! We get the $49.99 "serves 4" special (has plenty of variety from the menu)so worked really well for 2 adults and 2 twelve year olds! Been here the past 3 trips to US and this place never disappoints! Service is friendly and engaging and the quality of food is great! Don't pass up the fried won-tons as an appetizer! Give the green tea ice-cream a try for dessert- Yummy! We love this place for our family of 4 and give it our highest recommendation!

We went looking for a restaurant when we arrived in town for a Universal Studios visit scheduled for the next day. We had not been here before, so we were a little surprised that you had to pay the full parking price, even if you were just coming over for dinner. There are tons of shops on the walk, so try to make a visit of it if you're going to Panda Inn for dinner.

We arrived around 6:30 PM on a Sunday and the area was packed with people coming out of Universal Studios. It was very difficult to get to the restaurant itself from the parking area. We were quoted 25 minutes to be seated, but it turned out to be more like 35. Not too bad, considering the crowds, but there was really no place to sit comfortably while we waited. People were sitting on the planters outside or just standing. They have no seats inside the restaurant for people waiting to be seated.

They have a children's menu. The "chicken nuggets" were really just their deep fried chicken with no sauce on it. The food taste was nothing special, especially given the higher price for the food.

They brought the kid's food out first, then my food came out a few minutes later. My wife's food didn't arrive until the server went back to check on it. They had lost the order and made it right away. That was the only dish that came to the table at the appropriate tempreature. All the rest were lukewarm or cold. My wife's dish was absolutely swimming in sauce.

The server seemed to have too many tables, but she did her best to keep our drinks filled and the check was brought as expected. Overall, the food was fine, but not anything that would cause me to seek out Panda Inn for a second visit.
