Traveled with another party the week of August 4, 2014. Stayed at the Elan because of a 15% discount. We will go back to the Elan because of the excellent staff and location. The hotel is walking distance to the Price Is Right studio on Beverly Blvd. - maybe a 15 minute walk. The hotel is small, but not too boutique(ish). The hotel offers a wine reception from 5:00 to 7:00. I wish I could remember the girl's name who staffed the reception because she was so friendly and kind. Hopefully, she gets to run her own hotel some day. The hotel is within a block of the Beverly Center (Macy's, Bloomindale's, & Target). We explained to the front desk we needed two rooms close to each other. They gave us 216 & 217. Room 216 was a generous size with two double beds, sliding glass doors to a balcony, and nice sized bathroom with a window. Room 217 was a corner room with the same features, but a king sized bed. The hotel can set up tours through Star-Line. Their bus picks up at the front door. Overall, a nice place to stay and a great value.
