The hotel is pretty closely located to the airport, so picking up and returning rental car and also catching a flight, is super easy. It's also well placed, if you want to go a good sight seeing around LA.
The rooms are small but cosy and well maintained, with nice sized beds and other facilities. The breakfast is sumptous and carries a quite good variety.
The hotel reception could do better, as the reception and the breakfast area has been clubbed together in 1 room, thereby making both a crunched space. Also, the people on the reception could at least bear a smile on their face and answer the questions straight, as it helps new comers to the city get the required details quickly and in right manner.
Overall a good place to stay though.
This is our fourth stay at this particular Super 8 and I must say, the staff goes out of their way to accomodate. My significant other loves the sound of the planes overhead, so he always asks for a 2nd floor room. We were given the exact room we asked for and were pleasantly surprised to find it had been totally refurbished. New bath, new paint etc. The bed was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast in the AM consists of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, apple juice or orange juice. Toast (white and wheat) crullers and/or cinnamon buns, make them yourself waffles, oatmeal, and 2 kinds of dry cereal. No problem with this as we have had worse in other hotels.
We did not have a rental car this trip, but it is conveniently located near the returns and the airport. They have a prompt and courteous shuttle to and from the airport. ATM in the lobby and sightseeing trips from the lobby. Next door is Aliki's Taverna, which has great Greek food at reasonable prices. All in all - it ain;t the Ritz, but how much time do you stay in a hotel room.
Convenient location for rental car dropping and going to the airport.
Nice little swimming pool.
