This Hotel is on the side of freeway but when you get inside the room, it was quiet enough to have a good night sleep. The room is very very clean. It is adjacent to Universal Studio, 2 miles from Hollywood walk of fame.....Call them to have a best deal...

Room Tip: This a small Hotel maybe around 50 rooms. There is no fancy or big lobby but it is quiet even it is on the side the freeway. The rate is crazy everywhere but I got a pretty good deal. The room is very very clean plus it is adjacent to Universal Studio.

We stayed here 2 nights to visit Hollywood and Universal. Its a fairly short walk to Universal and the local bus stops right outside to take you into Hollywood. Its close to a freeway so you can hear the traffic. The breakfast was good, real boiling water for tea - amazing and I loved the pancake machine. They stored our bags after check out so we could go to Universal. The 2 restaurants we visited nearby were great - a French and an Italian, even though it seems like in the middle of nowhere. My only advice is if you are getting an airport shuttle here - print out a google map. Our worst experience of our 3 week US holiday was getting to this place. The driver got lost 3 times, abused the hell out of us for not knowing where it was and then charged us double what he quoted because it took over an hour to find. Maybe he was just a dope - but take a map in case.

This hotel is great if you are visting LA. There is free parking, so if you are visiting Universal Studios you can avoid having to drive and pay for parking as you can walk to universal studios from the hotel. It is also well situated to other attractions.

The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Was very unsure about what kind of hotel this was when I notiiced a security guard parked in the parking lot all night..Parking is limited and basically right off the street. Upon checking in the front desk staff seemed more concern with what they were working on than me standing there waiting to be checked in. That put me off a bit usually Holiday Inns are very gracious and welcoming when you check in. Not so Here. Right away checking in was not feeling real safe when I looked out the window and there was a iron gate attacted to the window. Felt like I was in jail.... I would stay at another hotel for sure...

Hotels these days keep reducing services. We do the opposite. Guest satisfaction is our number one priority. We have expanded breakfast, free parking (rare in hollywood), free internet, and yes, security. Guests are on vacation and have many valuables in their cars, like shopping items and electronics. Security protects this. Also, in morning, homeless people in area sometimes try to come for free breakfast and eat with our guests. We do donate to the LA Mission, but do not want our guests to be bothered while on vacation. The fence separates the building from the alley. Again, a safety precaution. Any major city has crime. How many hotels provide security for guests? Thank you.

Our laptop was stolen from his hotel and not one accomodation has been made to help replace it or make ammends for what obviously was a staff theft. The room was locked. Only hotel staff had access during our stay. They are claiming that nothing can/will be done. 3 times we have been promised a return call regarding this matter , each time over 48 hours has gone by with no contact. The laptop was purchased by my 10 year old who worked for 2.5 years to earn the $. Now... it's just gone and there is no compassion or resolution from the hotel. "Call your attorney" is the response we get from Customer Relations.

Not to mention...There are bars on the windows of the rooms... not sure how one would escape if needed.

We are priority members and have been treated terribly. As a consumer, I am very disappinted. The least this hotel could do would be to refund the $188 hotel room to help pay for a replacement of this computer. VERY SAD! Beware!

** A quick search shows that we are not the first to have items stolen from rooms at ths hotel. Seems like a big problem!**

Dear Guest, we are sorry your laptop is missing. The manager states you called and informed the hotel that the laptop was missing hours after your departure from the hotel. The hotel management checked your room, and asked staff, and no one had seen it. People leave things in rooms all the time, and staff always reports it. We would be out of business if our staff would steal guest items. Management requested that you file a police report if you feel that the item was stolen. You have been calling our brand complaint department so they are handling your issue directly. We do not have bars on windows, its a fence separating our property.
Again, we are sorry that your laptop is missing.
