I’m moving on from Four Seasons. Way too many options available. Each of the last three that I’ve stayed at have been extremely annoying and the staff has been relaxed to the point of causing irritation and hassle. L.A. was the breaking point. I won’t go on endlessly with stories – tried to reach a manager at this hotel twice and never got a call back. I don’t ask for much – just need a good sleep, decent food and to be comfortable. Maybe they’ve decided to become the relaxed family hotels and less business-oriented. I don’t know what’s happening to this chain who used to be completely reliable and could be depended on for consistently great food – that was a problem too! Who can’t get a burger or an omelet right? I’m just saying – luxury? In price only.

Professional, courteous and consistent. Very much what I have come to expect from any Four Seasons. Lovely spa and pool, really like the al fresco gym attached to the pool. A bit cookie cutter in room layout, bathrooms are dated, could use a modern face lift. Convenient location. Best for business, stay at The Beverly Hills Hotel or Hotel Bel Air for special occasions.

Room Tip: Request a high floor for a sunny view of Beverly Hills.

There are many luxury hotels to choose from in Los Angeles, but this Four Seasons, is a great choice., and a solid choice. Technically it is not in Beverly Hills, but across the street from it, and It has a good mix of everything. The service is what you expect of a Four Seasons, courteous, yet unobtrusive. The house car really comes in handy, as it is much easier than taking the car out, and covers most of where you would like to go. I had reserved a deluxe suite, and it was just great, with Juliette balconies overlooking the hills. The hotel is a bit out, in a more Residential area than the Beverly Wilshire, Montage, etc., but that's a good thing because it's close enough, yet understated. The pool area is beautiful, and enjoyable, with full service.

The restaurant La Culina, is just excellent, though at Sunday brunch, though unbelievable, the service was quite spotty, but that was in the outside seating area. I highly recommend this hotel, it is a perfect mix for LA.

Room Tip: Try and get a room facing the hills on a higher floor. If it fits your budget, try and stay in a one bedroom suite.

The associates insure that your stay is perfect. They are committed to your satisfaction. The gardens are gorgeous - how can this be in the city? The Sunday brunch has no competition. For special times, this is the place!

I am always happy when I stay at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills. From the moment I walk in and smell the gigantic lily arrangement in the lobby, to the Pool area, health club and fantastic restaurant, to the world's most comfortable beds, this is my absolute favorite hotel anywhere.

Room Tip: Always nice to stay on the 4th floor, close to the pool and spa.
