Great value and excellent location. In China town. Some tourist shop open very late. Many restaurants around this hotel. Be aware, you need to pay $10 for parking your car overnight in the hotel garage.

Best Western Dragon Gate Inn was a life saver for my family. A family member was transported to Kemp Hospital at USC for emergency surgery and this location was so wonderful in accommodating us at the last minute. They were kind at check in and at departure. The room was clean, large and comfortable. I would recommend the Best Western Dragon Gate Inn without hesitation.

Right in the heart of China Town, just minutes from the Union Square train station. Very clean, friendly, and comfortable. The rooms are nicely decorated and well kept. All the rooms overlook a central courtyard of small shops and services.

The staff in breakfast room were very nice and worked hard. I only like the breakfast during our four days stay, nothing else.

Room rate is not cheap plus $10 parking each day, take time to drive to Hollywood area, I should not cancel my booking with another motel in Hollywood area with almost half price.

I don't suggest this hotel to you.

Our room was clean, not too small for a downtown urban setting. There was ample hot water. The desk clerk was helpful if not enthusiastic. One unsettling procedure is that there are no private safes for guests either in their rooms or at reception. Instead, guests are instructed to pit their valuables into a paper envelope and given a claim check for the items which are presumably placed in the hotel's safe. I've never encountered that procedure before. The rooms are on three floors around a courtyard and are off the street reducing the traffic noise.
