Very cool hotel - its close to the freeway but really quiet. Close to lots of restaurants in Brentwood. Proximity to beaches, shopping, etc. was excellent. Service was very good. Pool was immaculate and very well kept.

Room Tip: There are TWO phases - main hotel and annex "up the hill" - we really like the annex. BIG...

I was in search for a "boutique" hotel to hold a business meeting for 20+ upper level executives. I was sold once I reviewed the photos on the website of the Luxe Sunset Boulevard! Classy, beautiful, trendy and definitely uniquely boutique! When you drive into the venue, you drive out of San Diego and in to a lovely hideaway surrounded by gorgeous, mature foliage. The fact that there are two tiers to the hotel makes for even more of a "get away" type feel for those who lodge in the second tier nearest the pool.

Catering and Staff:
Food presentation was very neat, clean, and concise. Food was fantastic also! I was looking to do a little something extra for my VIP guests and the catering/sales staff truly went above and beyond. Josh Fields and team were gracious in their offerings to make my VIPs feel truly special. This team is unlike any other I have worked with before. Their attention to detail and customer service is absolutely stellar. This type of service goes all the way through the hierarchy including the maids as they also went out of their way to help myself and my VIPs.

Rooms:
I viewed both the Standard and Executive rooms and both were graciously large, comfortable, modern yet cozy, and impeccably decorated. There is absolutely NO noise from other guests, A/C unit or faucets/toilets. The bathroom is also incredibly spacious!! Lastly, the rooms are updated with a Keurig and not some complicated, cheap coffee maker.

Our experience was truly second to none and we look forward to not only visiting the Luxe Sunset Boulevard again (for both business and pleasure!), but also looking to see what other L.E Properties have in store for our future business meetings.

Moral of the story: Can't go wrong with this choice. HIGHLY Recommend! :)

Room Tip: All rooms are spacious!

We stayed at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard for one night with our teenage daughter. The suite we had was lovely, very spacious and luxurious. The staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We were in the upper building where the pool and spa are located which is further away from the traffic noises. The pool was very clean but it would have been nice if the pool side bar had been open so we could have had a cold drink.

On the whole a great find and well worth a visit.

I attended a bar mitzvah event here. I did not stay overnight. But the setting was very nice, particularly outdoors (with lots of comfy seating and white lights in the trees and a large L shaped patio). Good location too (just off the highway).

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and absolutely loved this hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable, although the hotel was a little further away from Los Angeles than we would have liked, it was still easy to get to the restaurants and other places by using the hotel's shuttle car. The staff were very friendly and the hotel itself was just gorgeous. The only thing that was a bit of a pain was the hike up the hill to get to our room as the hotel is split into two levels with no access to an elevator. Other than that everything was perfect.

The Luxe hotel is well located, close to the 405 Highway, which gives you access to any direction you might want to go. The 405 is also a problem though, as it is very noisy, even with doors and windows closed. The gym room is small and simple, but well equiped enough if you want to work out any time of the day. Swimmingpool is charming. Rooms are spacious enough, but queen size beds may not be enough for a couple to sleep in confortably. I know it's my case. Room service is OK for a quick snack, or breakfast. Working staff is very attentive. All rooms have a terrace, but they are not all private and isolated from the others. Biggest problem is the hotel is divided in two buildings and if while one has the swimmingpool, the other has the restaurant. They offer you a lift between buildings to compensate, but this is a little unconfortable.

Room Tip: Prefer the rooms from 300 to 400 which are on the upper building of the hotel, close to the swimming...

I've been traveling to LA for 25 years & have stayed at various hotels -- including the famed Beverly Hills Hotel. The Luxe is simply outstanding. The accommodations are excellent and most rooms are very big. You simply can't beat the location -- on Sunset Blvd. just west of the 405. I am bewildered by one of the reviews, which criticizes the staff. I firmly believe the attentiveness of the staff is the real strength of this fine hotel. The staff is the best. I now stay at the hotel about three times a year and wouldn't stay anywhere else.
