Loved this hotel travelled from england and was a beautiful hotel and close to all the places we wanted to see - rooms were gorgeous and everything we wanted - luxury - would recommend to everyone !! :)

Room Tip: ask for room close to the pool = a little better views

This is a well-appointed and pleasant hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent location. We enjoyed the facilities and the calm decor. The food was fine, if not brilliant. The pool was unusually pretty and a nice size.

Understated elegance... minutes from the Getty Museum. Easy to Uber anywhere!
So enjoyed the relaxed friendly atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wish we had more time to check out the restaurant, the menu looked wonderful.

I scheduled a lunch at the Luxe Hotel with four of my business friends. The meal was divine and affordable. The ambiance was business-friendly and the quiet enough to conduct serious business. The staff was attentive in all aspects of the two-hours spent at the Hotel.

Was in an Executive Suite. Rooms are large and spacious. First room, in the building up the hill, smelled really funky as others have pointed out in their reviews. It is a combo of musty, moldy, cleaning supplies and old. Pervasive odor. Room was noisy, loud group of drunk people in the hallway on and off until 1:30AM. Front desk said they would send security but not sure that happened based on continued noise, doors slamming etc. Patio faced the 405 and was very noisy so you cannot keep doors to terrace open. Asked to be moved due to smell and noise, was put into a room in main building. Less smell but still a faint odor. This room did not have a terrace. Furniture worn, some stains on carpet. Door let a lot of light in around the edges and did not seal properly. Bathroom nice, large. Bed, average comfort, somewhat lumpy mattress that had seen better days. Sheets were scratchy. Pillows ALL smelled of the same funk in the room. Food was solid at the property, we had a meeting there and ordered off the menu, the french fries were especially good and the mains were tasty and well prepared. Overall, this is not what I would consider a luxury boutique property. They have the benefit of location being close to UCLA and Brentwood. However, do not expect to walk anywhere, it is somewhat in a shopping desert, and you have to Uber or cab a couple of miles to get anywhere. Overall, I would say that this hotel is trying to be something it is not--luxury. It is a boutique type hotel that is old and worn, and while the rooms were clean, the smell needs to be addressed, and the staff is busier talking to each other than helping guests.

Room Tip: Be sure to be in the main building or you will need to take a golf cart to the front of the hotel. This is a hassle and the people that drive you rightly expect a tip. Ask for a room that faces away from the highway.
