Everything about this hotel is ahhh-mazing. The floor to wall window, black out curtain, carpet choice, soap and lotion, modern furniture, exactly to my taste. We ordered room service twice and it came in these cute little aluminum containers wrapped up in a handkerchief. We ordered late night hot dogs and pizza and it was insanely good! Early morning congee, yes please. Love the staff fashion and the outdoor pool. The cafe downstairs? Ahhhmazeballs! Try the milk tea and strawberry pastry. It's like all the things I love, with utmost sophistication and class. I don't think I can stay anywhere else at this point.

I was in town for a business trip centered around the LA Convention Center. The Line is about a 10 min drive (LA traffic) from the conference epicenter and also is nicely surrounded by a ton of Korean food choices :] The Pot restaurant downstairs is a nice dinner treat and the quick bites available at the lobby cafe are perfect when you're on the go for your morning meetings.

My stay at The Line was awesome! The front staff is extremely courteous and assisted me with my bags since I was a bit early for check in. Once the room was ready, the staff gave me a ring to let me know I could settle in. The room itself was clean and the workspace in the room was perfect. I only wish the wifi was a bit stronger in the rooms.

Overall great stay and I would definitely recommend this for both conference and non-conference occasions.

I loved the sustained architecture and design. The room was cool. (But the brass fixtures were a little too 1990's for my taste.) And the location is ideal. The staff was awesome above and beyond what I expected. Especially the valet service. They were busy, but always smiling and I never had an interaction where they didn't address by name. That tells me that attention to detail is a passion with the management. If you want an InterContinental or Four Seasons this is not for you. But I like to think I'm not boring and I like the edgy feel the experience provided. I hope to be booked there again when my job sends me back to SoCal.

Room Tip: Insist on a Hollywood Hills view room. The only complaint I have is that the street noise from Wils...

After staying at heaps of hotels all over the country during a 4 week holiday the line stands out. Friendly staff who went above and beyond more than once. The room was cool with electric blinds and lots of technology. We had an upgrade to the slightly larger room with a desk which was great and the view was of the city side which was good as well.

I apologize for having to be severe on this establishment, but at $400 a night for a business hotel in LA... So lets start with not having a room ready at 5PM and the manager not apologizing or acknowledging the issue. Thankfully the desk attendant made up for that by offering a small credit and a very polite apology. The rooms are small. Very small. New York small as we say with no storage, next to no lighting and ridiculous and uncomfortable/unusable furniture. If you share a room, there is desk space and seating for one. Bathroom is tiny but good water pressure BUT NOWHERE TO HANG YOUR TOWELS! No soap dish, no cups. What? Seriously. There is nowhere to hang your towel, you throw it on the floor or in the tub. If you are lucky you get a floor mat. You also don't get a soap dish so the entire sink area gets soapy wet.
If you get a room facing Wilshire, you better bring ear plugs - the windows are single pane and the noise is New York loud - all night. Other than that the exposed concrete minimalist IKEA look is nice for an hour before you start to feel like you are in a prison cell. Also housekeeping is really poorly trained - beds were badly made, bathrooms were not cleaned properly, not up to standards. The Free WIFI was spotty and slow and the $35 a day charge for parking on a $400 a night room charge is a bit much although I have to say the the valet staff was stellar - always having the car ready in minutes. Overall it feels like a a poorly conceived wannabe trendy luxury hotel refurbish, that thinks it can sustain itself with ridiculous gouging charges like $10 minibar water and $35 Parking , but without the 5-star service quality and amenities it may find it difficult to sustain this pricing in the long-term.
The one big positive is the central location and the great walking distance to Koreatown restaurants.

Room Tip: You will need to get a room on the higher floors and with a view of the hills if you want some sleep...

I greatly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I was hesitant at first because it looked very modern from the pictures and I wondered if the feel would be too cold though I was there on business. The staff were awesome, very helpful. Their branding is adorable. Loved their outfits. The room was very chic. I've never slept with the bed immediately facing the window and yet it gave me the best views of the city. Also got to sample the food as the event was at the hotel and it was delicious. I would definitely stay here again and certainly host another event here.

Room Tip: Loved my view from an uppermost room

Stayed here during E3 in one of their King rooms. Very clean with modern decor - loved the floor to ceiling window. This place probably has some of the best room service food, and the cafe in the lobby is on point.
The staff was always very attentive and helpful. Props to Phil for helping us out every morning with cabs.
The one thing that really needs some improvement is the internet connection. In rooms, it is very unstable, and the lounge that was set up had crawling speeds.
This may not be one's first choice if going on a business trip, but it is a great place with good vibes.
Would definitely stay again if just visiting.
