Check-in was smooth and problem free. The desk staff were polite and professional.

Free parking is always a plus. There is limited number of parking spaces in the covered garage, but the available adjacent lot provides plenty of extra spaces, although it's "park at your own risk". The lot is accessible to anyone, so I would be cautious.

I stayed in the King Suite where the king bed is separated from the living area by a sliding door. The bed was squeaky but comfortable. The sofa was stained and filthy and the cushions looked to be on their last legs. I wouldn't even sit directly on the sofa without putting a sheet over it. The bathroom was functional and well stocked.

I didn't use the mini fridge, the TV or the wifi so I can't comment on those.

Personally, I don't feel that the room is worth the price I paid for it, but the location is fantastic, so I suppose the value depends on the individual.

Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for this place. The room was clean but nothing fancy. I literally went into my room and slept. As soon I woke up I left. The bed was decent and I can't exactly say anything was bad. The location was great for where I needed to be.

Two associates of mine and I were in Los Angeles for a week in mid-June on a business trip. We booked the Ramada Wilshire, a hotel in which I had stayed twice before. This trip was by far the best as far as the hotel itself goes.

We booked a suite, which consists of two rooms and a Jack'n'Jill bathroom. The bathroom was large enough as it was, though it was no frills. The "living room" consisted of a television, desk, mini fridge, coffee maker, coffee table, and sofa. The sofa pulls out to be a bed, which is nice as it saves on needing to rent a rollaway bed. The bedroom is fairly basic, but clean and comfy featuring a king-sized bed. Our room was on the top floor near the front corner of the building and had a nice view of the street, surrounding businesses and featured nifty curved-glass windows. Nights were quieter than you might expect and the area, despite being in Koreatown and of questionable repute, wasn't too bad to walk down (Wishire Blvd wasn't, that is) the short distance to the nearby supermarket or restaurant.

I'm going to be keeping the Ramada Wilshire on my list for affordable hotels for the next time I'm in Los Angeles on business.

Room Tip: Spring for a suite if you can.

After spending most of my day in LA's convention center, it was nice to arrive at my room in this hotel. Although it might not see "new", the staff is always there to help you. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. If you're planning a trip to LA and you are thinking of spending most of your days out, then this is an economic yet nice place to stay. It seems old and out of date but you'll get over it.

This property is in a great location, and while the hotel itself is a bit old, it is well maintained and the desk staff was very attentive. I checked in late at the day (to my benefit), so was upgraded to a mini-suite and was quite pleased with the quality, the free parking, and feeling safe and secure where I was spending the night. Internet worked throughout the property, and there is a restaurant onsite if you don't want to go to one of the many places to eat that in walking distance of this hotel.

Glad I spent a few extra dollars for this property instead of some of the other Wyndham properties nearby.
