Pre-fixed courses with many dishes in small portion are not necessarily my favorite, however, this restaurant was impressive. About one third of dishes (except deserts) were vegitables, and even fish and meats have vegetables effectively accompanied. Ingredients are of high quality and textures are well thought out. Deliciousness and healthiness are compatible at this restaurant.
As I visited the restaurant driving a car, I could not drink alcohol. Instead I ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail named Fielenotes. Its ingredients are vegetable called sorrel, lemongrass, lime and celery. I had no idea how it would taste, however, I was pleased its slight bitterness was so good.
The restaurant is quite expensive and the location is inconvenient for tourists. However, if you are near San Jose, want to try creative foods and are prepared to spend handsome money, this restaurant is worth a visit.
