My wife and I spent one night in Los Gatos in the middle of an extended road trip. Walking by Rootstock we saw a table on the patio and decided to have a quick drink before finding somewhere else to eat. J.P., our waiter, came by and quickly figured out what types of wines we liked and suggested a couple of flights. Usually tasting flights are quite small, but these were generously sized pours. The wine was delicious and we decided to try and appy plate...also delicious. Then we moved on to the Burrata salad and a flatbread. Yummy!! Needless to say we did not go elsewhere that night. J.P. was excellent at making us feel at home and with his suggestions about everything. He really helped make our evening special. Thanks.
