“Good food, fun ambiance”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2013

How many sports can you play with a wine glass in your hand? Enjoy a good meal and a game of bocce. Wonderful place for office parties and big events. Seating and courts both inside and out. Only negative: sometimes the indoor dining area can be a bit loud. (Acoustics could be better.) Excellent food.

“Comfortable Atmosphere, Great Food, Abundant Drink”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 August 2013

This is a fantastic place to bring a group. Four bocce courts with tables all around and a nice covered patio area and outdoor seating area gives large groups lots of room.

To begin the evening, one of the employees comes out to the court and gives a quick tutorial on the game of bocce.

They have a nice selection of beers on tap and a long list of wines available by the glass. At $10- $12 a glass, I thought the wine was a little over priced for a venue that invites you to have fun playing bocce and going back for refills.

The lamb chop riblets are excellent, as well as the burger sliders. They have a huge unique selection of thin crust pizzas.

I loved the easy atmosphere, the great food and the variety of available drinks. This is a great venue option is you are in town with a large group- friends or business- and wanting something a little different than the "sit around the table and have a meal" sort of gathering.

“Great Location for friends or family gathering.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 July 2013

If you are looking for more than just a restaurant, meaning you can also have a fun activity with family and / or friends, team building, business or work meeting, then this is the place to go to.
They also have a sports bar with multiple large screen TV's.
The food is earthy, freshly cooked to order, and there are many interesting items on the menu.
One of my favorites is the Boar Sausage Pizza, a unique item I have not seen anywhere else. As the name suggests, made with Boar's meat sausage, and with potatoes; different, but delicious.
Check the menu here:
http://www.campodibocce.com/LosGatos/dining/index.html

Other popular items are the Lamb lollipops, the burger sliders, and large selection of pastas.
Food, wines and beers are reasonably priced, unlike many restaurants that get you on the drinks.
Now for the fun part, this place has Bocce courts, and if have not played Bocce before, they will give you the basics and get you going. It is the only sport I know of where you can hold the ball in one hand and hold a glass of wine in the other hand. If you want to get serious, they also have a Bocce Amateur league you can sign up for.
They have an outside garden which is great in the summer, and they also have 2 private party rooms, one indoors and the other outdoors. The place can get loud at times when people are playing as the tables indoors are next to the courts.
Overall, very reasonably priced food, always fresh, great friendly service, and great venue to have fun with friends.

“Great group event.. average food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2013

I read all the reviews and was very worried about the amount of food that would be provided, we did not have any issues with that. We ordered the largest group menu and had more than twice the amount of food that would have been needed for our group. The Bocce was great, we were at two indoor courts and it was a lot of fun and the appetizers were great. The prices are very reasonable if if I am back in the area I would definitely go back. The one downside is they dont have a full bar, just beer and wine.

“Great Place for Team Building Event, and Very Good Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 January 2013

Campo di Bocce is a great place to go for fun and food for a team building event for work or business. They have both indoor and outdoor courts for play, during the spring and summer the outdoor courts are great. The food is better than average, and so far have not ever had any poor quality food, that was served family style. Have been here a half dozen times over the past few years for business events, and have enjoyed every time. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the waiters are very attentive. If looking for something a little different to do, that "everyone" can participate, and a location that also has very good food, so you don't have to drive somewhere else to eat, then would enjoy Campo di Bocce.
