Not my first time golfing this track. I have done both courses in the past... I'm not good enough of a golfer to say this one is better or worse, I like both. Kidd has more Sand and Lorette has more water... but they both have plenty of each, it’s a great design that offers lots of challenges. Personally, I think what really matters about this course is the setting it is in. With the mountains leering overhead, the green vibrant colors and the crystal clear river and creeks winding their way throughout the course your breath is taken away. The scenery is exactly what makes the Rocky Mountains and Alberta so special. This course is considered a vacation destination (I completely agree) and what that means is you can book your tee-times months in advance. Also if you are local (Alberta driver’s license can be shown) you get a discount. There is no GPS on the carts nor are they mandatory. You can have a terrible golf game and yet here every hole you will take a step back and exhale and be blown away by the beautiful landscape. Also the service is amazing. From the included valet parking, to moving your clubs wherever they need to be to wiping them down after your game, they are all over it.
