Tiny space and difficult to find but well worth the search. The Breakfast burrito was incredible. I got the small one and can't imagine how big the large must be. My wife got the Juevo's and wasn't as impressed with that but would definitely go back for the breakfast burrito!!!!!!

Make Lily's Cafe your morning breakfast stop while in Malibu! The breakfast burritos cannot be beat. Really really delicious. Although we stuck with burritos, EVERY SINGLE breakfast we saw leaving the kitchen looked TERRIFIC. Lily actually works the counter and is incredibly friendly.

Prepare to wait for your order. This place is popular and service slow. Food is average, portions big.
Got the breakfast burrito. Edible but not the best quality ingredients.

You're probably not going to just stumble across this little hidden gem unless your looking for it. However, if you're looking for a delicious Mexican-style breakfast near Malibu, this place is worth searching for. It's tucked away in a shopping center just off of Pacific Coast Highway.

My breakfast burrito was outstanding and big - almost too much for me to finish. My wife ordered the huevos rancheros, and she was very pleased ("delightfully authentic," was her quote). My 8-year-old was happy with a basic cheese quesadilla.

The interior of the cafe is small and was filled with friendly locals who Lily seemed to know by name. Lily, by the way, worked the register and took our order. It seemed busy but Lily said the amount of customers was about usual. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the views of Malibu. It was a great experience.

Finally, as a side note, when we got in our car in the parking lot, David Duchovny pulled up next to us and headed into the shopping center.

Having read previous reviews, the four of us had breakfast burritos and we were not disappointed. They were really nice and flavoursome. We also bought some pastries to eat later on and they were fantastic.
